Zeppelin could do it.

Floyd would sell out 15, but not 50.

Boxcar Willie, Slim Whitman, Helen Reddy, or Bobby Goldsboro wouldn't have a chance.

Floyd could do it easily, maybe even more, no problem

Without Rick Wright, there's no Pink Floyd. Yeah, they made The Final Cut without him, but that was essentially a Waters solo album.

If the tickets said "Pink Floyd" on them, people would buy them. In 1987, and again in 1994, VAST quantities of "Floyd" tickets were sold for what were essentially David Gilmour solo tours. Don't underestimate the power of a brand name.

That's a good call Tatters. Nobody is really interested in a Jagger solo album but they crave his vocal on a Stones album.

Judging by the total and utter hysteria over his death and the comedy show that was his funeral at the Staples Centre, quite possibly a further 50 such funeral services at the O2 would be a sell-out. Surprised AEG haven't come up with that one as yet ..... just wait !! I suspect they're not done with trying to recoup their impending losses quite yet !!

In all seriousness, they COULD send his coffin on a funeral tour. They could wheel him out on stage just like they did at the Staples Center, with everyone singing "Hallelujah! We're going to see the King!", and then have an all-star cast perform his songs. That might sell even more tickets than a living Michael Jackson. They've got to strike fast, while the iron is hot. In a few months from now, no one will give a shit. You know, societies tend to get the entertainment they deserve, and right now, we, as a society, DESERVE to see the King!

I think the correct response would be Man In The Box instead of Man In The Mirror.

Nah, Zep is the only band that would come close to 'selling out' 50 shows. But it wouldn't - they're just not freaky enough.
