Has Mick ever . . .

Has Mick ever thanked their stage/sound crew? Have you ever heard a bootleg where he does this?

Recently I was reading the History of the Grateful Dead and their stage and sound crew were so involved with the band. Remember the Grateful Dead movie, where the crew somes out on stage (Winterland 74). I've been at Pearl jam shows where Vedder has asked for a round of applause for the crew, following by some kind words. Pearl Jam has even let the crew write up the night's set list . . .

Not that it really matters, but it just goes to show that the Stones are a bit isolated from their surroundings. Maybe they look at the crew as being just hired hands and all . . .

Just some thoughts after viewing Tumbling Dice from LA 75, where during the last section, "party down sometime yeah" Jagger goes to dance for the people behind the stage and as he skips in between the drums and amps, he almost rams into a stage tech . . .

Do you remember if it happened in ABB or 4 Flicks DVD when Jagger thanked the whole stuff ?

I had this link on my computer "RS crew documents" ( I keep here all reviews and links concerning Stones'crew and technical stuff)
I don't know whether if it was a "false" story or not.

This is a rare watch for all those who love the Rolling Stones and maybe even went to one of the Steel Wheel concerts in 1989. This was made for just the sound crew on the tour and only ten of them were made through the whole tour

He did - in that rather moving speach where he mentioned some of the mishaps, deaths, accidents etc.
And then Keith threw a party for everyone who worked on the tour. Picked up the whole bill - as usual.

Usually he never gives a crap about the crew. Same with KISS. They don't give a crap about the people who work the asses off for them. Gene Simmons even spat on his bass tech when things don't work properly. What an @#$%& he is.

San Francisco 02, because the stage was up despite the storm.

Don't they have a couple of parties for the whole tour on every tour? I know they had one in the Panama in Amsterdam during the Licks tour I think.

Cheers,
Wuudy

Yeah, almost the first hurricane to hit the West Coast in decades, power out to most of the city the day before, yet the show went on, and he did make some comment like "and how about that crew getting this set up during the storms".

In Cologne 1999 Mick thanked the crew in a very warm way!
