HI ERIK!!! You know I really believe all these great recording( at least performance wise if not tape quality wise) shows the band at its most devastating LIVE strength from 69-73!! Before any Ron fanatics jump on me I think those shows are good too and I love Ron but I just think as a band this was their peak!

there's sth in 1971 shows indeed... still as raw as in 69 but not as tight... still the greatest :-)

Properly speed-corrected and cleaned-up the TMOQ vinyl of London Roundhouse is a really nice listen, much better than VGP's later CD release which is too dry. It is certainly a better performance than Leeds (which is fabulous because of the quality) or the Marquee.

I'm sure it's a cracking performance but I find the Coventry tape hard work audio quality-wise.
