The Last Time is indeed a great, catchy, radio friendly song.......made a hit imo due to Brian’s riff throughout. However, it can be well argued that it is not an entirely self penned Jagger/Richards song. It is in fact a clever interpretation or rewrite of an existing song.....which is what they did with ALL their hits up to that time. The first genuine self penned hit was Satisfaction. IMO.

NME 1968 was not offically filmed or recorded because the Stones were not scheduled to appear......it was a last minute, surprise appearance. What is interesting is the development of the amps used in 1968 compared with their previous appearance in 1966. The audience filmed silent colour clip of 1968 is the only film to have surfaced so far.

When the copyright protections were issued they had a “bleep” added, which when removed revealed some fantastic sounding tracks. Is it possible to remove the audience screaming on the GLIYWI. LP, leaving only the performance (yes I know some tracks are studio outtakes)? If someone was able to achieve this and post it that would be great.

I hope they were, but at both shows and queuing around the side of the theatre I don't remember seeing the Mobile there.
