QuoteValeswood QuoteKeithNacho Is it Gilmour or Snowy White?? I believe it is Snowy White who also played the solo on the 1977 Tour. Correct, its Snowy White. Excellent solo, no idea why it wasn't Gilmour but Snowy did fantastic.

Quotebye bye johnny “I didn’t know we were going to be playing Tommy, it wasn’t on the list,” griped Pete Townshend, after a sustained 40-minute highlights rendition of his hugely ambitious and complex rock opera, which the 78-year-old guitarist had apparently negotiated with sheer muscle memory and virtuosity. “I’ve got a list here,” shot back 80-year-old frontman Roger Daltrey, squinting thr

QuotePaddy Somewhere inside I feel this will be the last time I see Neil live Starting to really feel like that for everyone. I know that has maybe been the case for a decade now, but it now is REALLY feeling like the end for so many. QuoteDGA35 Does Neil change the set list up or is it the same every show? I feel like with Neil you never know. I will say I feel its more likely than not that

Enough difference between the Paris and Wiltern shows I'd say: -Worried About You in for Beast Of Burden -The Nearness Of You and Before They make Me Run in for Thru And Thur and You Don't Have To Mean It -Love Train in for Rock Me Baby -Respectable in for Bitch -Rip This Joint in for Can't You Hear Me Knockin. -and Heartbreaker and Its Only Rock N Roll as additional songs

Quotegotdablouse @Tate - thanks, hopefully this will see the light of day. Not sure about the demand though, heck, Rolling Stone didn't even publish a line since he died when they're always the first out with such news... If you ever needed more proof that Rolling Stone absolutely sucks and is such a faux organization, thats it.

Quoteslewan QuoteRollingFreak Ticket prices are surprisingly reasonable in LA. Worst seats are $42 after fees, next level up is $70 after fees, next is $125 after fees. Then you obviously get the ridiculous $200+ premium options, though there are some $150 and $185 seats in there as well that aren't absurd. I'm still gonna wait for a setlist before committing to that price, but $125

QuoteLeonidP QuoteKoen Not my cup of tea. Only bluesy part in it is the harmonica. Guitar work is pretty damn good, imo. IMO its actually one of his better recorded solos in awhile. Between returning to GNR where he's either sleepwalking through most of those solos cause he's done them a million time, or just noodling around like on Paradise City these days, and his fairly uninspire

QuoteKoen Not my cup of tea. Only bluesy part in it is the harmonica. I think the rest of the album might be bluesy-ier than this. This seems like one of the more upbeat ones to be a single, obviously also with the big star power of Brian Johnson to get it the most press. He also just announced his tour today for this: "S.E.R.P.E.N.T." festival tour dates: July 05 - Bonner,

Quotegotdablouse It has the great song called "Sunshine" that sounds like a mix between "Sway", "Wild Horses" and "Moonlight Mile" ! Excellent song. I definitely hear the songs you're mentioning, but also, as Karl did many times, he lovingly but directly lifts You're A Big Girl Now from Bob Dylan during those verses. I remember the first time I

Coming right off the World Party death, I find out Eric Carmen has also died. So very sad, he wrote a ton of incredible songs. He had a successful solo career post Raspberries with All By Myself, Hungry Eyes, touring in one of Ringo's All Star Bands. But for me his Raspberries work was just absolutely outstanding. He had a knack for writing such a catchy lyrical hook, and just make a great p

Really talented guy. I won't call him a genius, but he was really something special. One man band who wrote some truly incredible songs. Way Down Now, Call Me Up, She's The One, Vanity Fair, Put The Message In The Box, Ship Of Fools. Really special guy who had some bad illness and never really got his due. So thankful to have gotten to see him live once. Definitely suggest some check ou

Quotebitusa2012 A totally lazy and incomprehensible release. For someone who’s last release was about mortality, and who apparently has lots of unreleased studio tracks in the vaults, to continuously release the same style “greatest hits” packages is a nonsense. I’m a huge fan, have 100s of Springsteen bootlegs, but this is ridiculous, and the first ever Springsteen record I will not buy. If

Again, should make it clear I really enjoyed the release. Deep cut after deep cut, even if most were pretty standard for those theater shows on that tour. Its a really fun listen to get something different than just warhorse after warhorse. They sound great and its an immensely fun show to hear to hear something diferent from them. I just don't assume I'll ever really feel the need to p

QuoteWuudy What a beautiful song is No Expectations. This rendition doen't beat the Stripped one in my opinion but Jaggers voice is stunning on this one! I don't think I've ever heard them do it poorly. Personally, my favorite is Rock And Roll Circus, but any version is excellent.

Brian sounds great on that. He should do more of that kind of singing instead of trying to reach back into his youth for AC/DC stuff he can't really pull off anymore. Still has a voice, just has to be in the right range for the right thing.

QuoteStonedRambler Quotehockenheim95 Keith is VERY loud in the mix I honestly don't get the fuzz about the 2002-2003 tour. Keith is more focused on his moves than on his playing and Ronnie seems drunk and unfocused as well. Mick and Charlie deliver though - as always. I've always assumed it largely has to do with the different sets depending on the venue they were playing on the
