QuoteTornAndFried Lovely rendition....but where was Nancy Wilson? not sure if the sisters' antipathy still exists, but there was a family feud a couple of years ago when Ann's husband had an altercation with Nancy's sons. Something about leaving the tour bus doors open, allowing Ann's dogs to escape....

I saw an interview with Todd Rundgren where he said Laura's "Eli and the Thirteenth Confession" (1968) was an all-time classic. So...I bought it, and it is very good. It reminded me quite a bit of Todd Rundgren's early 70s albums....

QuoteHairball QuoteKSIE Outstanding song and album. When is Gaz going to release another disc?? Not sure about Gaz solo, but Supergrass were just in the midst of reuniting with live shows when the damn pandemic hit. I had tickets to see them at The Wiltern here in SoCal, but needless to say it was postponed indefinitely. I have no idea what the future holds for them at this point, but

QuoteMrEcho QuoteSpodlumt Ditch "Hold Back," "Winning Ugly," "Back To Zero" and "Too Rude," and replace with "Nobody's Perfect," "Strictly Memphis," "Putty In Your Hands and "I Can't See No One Else," and you have a great album. Three covers, but no turkeys. My two cents... "Dirty Work" as released in 1

"Some people got no choice they can never find a voice that they can talk with and truly call their own, so the first thing that they see that allows them the right to be, why they follow it; it's called 'bad luck' " Lou Reed "Street Hassle" (my punctuation).

You almost can't go wrong with Gene Clark. "The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard & Clark" (with the Dillard brothers natch), "White Light", "Roadmaster" and "So Rebellious a Lover" (with Carla Olson) are all excellent.
