I agree with frankotero and have thought that this leg of the tour is nothing like what we saw in the States. I think it has more to do with comfort and what Keith can handle; I actually was thinking about coming to London for at least 2 shows but to be honest, to see 85-90% warhorses that I've heard way too many tmes already and to spend thousands of very hard earned dollars, well, I decide

You must be a rich man if it's an original because an art dealer pal of mine has one, not a silk screened piece but one of the original pieces, and he has a price tag of $1.25 million on it! He is trying to sell it for the real owner, a multi-millionaire from New York. I could have bought one of the silk screened prints now valued anywhere from $40,000-70,000 depending on the pose, for $2500

I sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU as I always do on your day! Hope you heard me, it was in key all the way through and as sexy as I could make it! May life always be kind to you, and may you enjoy every day as much as you possibly can; you have brought such joy to so many, give that joy to yourself, a gift to you, from you! Most of all, may you never lose that twinkle in your eye!

Yes I saw that when it came out on public television and thought it was quite good, very different. It was weird seeing Mick playing such an odd role but with his hair pulled up from his forehead so tight, it made his eyes squinty, like a real Chinaman!

I never thought too much about him myself until I saw him when he opened for the Stones and for two nights I sat through his set...and I was impressed. It was not bad at all! He has a style, he didn't strike me as a Hendrix clone and that was a god thing. He had chops! You don't have to be old and withered to play the blues!

I couldn't agree more! So now we must IMPORT air-headed nimrods?? We have enough of our own....PARIS DING-DONG HILTON....so why do we need to bring them over here?? Nothing much to say ( I saw her on a talk show), nothing to look at except nice clothes, and no noticable talent. Can she sing? I'm not sure I recall what her voice sounds like outside of the Spice Girl harmonies. I believe

Mellilo, I happen to agree with Gazza; The Stones aren't lazy where Chuck is concerned, I think they simply recognize his talent. He is versatile, not imposing, and once in awhile he is a bit loud but that would be the problem for the soundboard to contend with. If Chuck were not an asset, at this point he would be GONE! And Gazza, you think this is the last 5 weeks of the Rolling Stones as

Hello single ladies thinking about going to London! I may want to share a good hotel for the week of August 20-28. I want to go to 2 of the 3 Stones shows but expect to pick up the tickets from the hotel conceirge or at the box office day of show. I live in Massachusetts, USA and would arrange to meet either at the airport or at the hotel. Email me if you are interested. All of my friends are not

Hey, I'll split a pair with you; I also need to find some single woman to share expenses with if I locate a good ticket. I am 46, my friends and boyfriend are not Stones fans. I have a brand new passport but do not want to travel alone. My email is mickschix2@aol.com Thanks.

Mick looks great in that cowboy hat! And paypay obviously never listened to SEALEVEL, that's for sure! I am a huge fan of SEALEVEL and actually have had many emails back and forth with Chuck about his catalog of cds with the Allman Brothers, SEALEVEL and a few other great 70's bands. He was thrilled that anyone that loves the Stones as I do had ever heard of SEALEVEL. My boyfriend even

Yes, Bluz, I heard that story! He was indeed innovative. Check out the rather unknown " Rainbow Bridge" cd and see how magnificant his slow bluesy style was, and not just for that time.

Chuck does exactly what Mick tells him to do and if it were not for Chuck, many times their sound would dissolve into chaos! Keith is so unstable much of the time that Chuck has become increasingly more necessary, like it or not. He keeps their sound on track, helps the band out of trouble. Watch him, he is NOT disruptive, his playing is usually tasty and under-stated and I sure don't find i

Playing behind his back, doing forward rolls, setting his guitar on fire were all tricks because Jimi was really very insecure about his playing and felt he had to put on a show in addition to laying down some of the most incredible guitar playing ever heard. I think that he was truly UNDER-RATED and the depth of his talent was never fully appreciated. I have listened to a huge amount of Jimi

It was in 1964 when I bought my first Stones single, " Congratulations" ; of course " Time Is On My Side" was the A side but I loved " Congratulations" alot more! I still have it! After that, I bought everything they ever recorded, many times over from singles, to albums to tapes to dvds to videos. I love that deep sound of the guitar on that single, very 60's.

I've let it be known that at the church, they are to play " Wild Horses" before, during and after the ceremony. Not an instrumental versioon, although that may be nice for the before portion. " Danny Boy" must have been nice, and certainly gut-wrenching.

I paid $550 for a terrible seat at the Radio City gig but ended up when the Stones came on really close, stage left! I've paid that same price for 7th row Madison Square Garden in 1998, an awesome show that Fiona Apple opened for and she sucked! My best bargain was $25( that my Dad paid for) general admission paid to a scalper for the August 8, 1975 show at Rich Stadium, Buffalo when I ended

Rock N "roller, you're not entirely correct in thinking that rock music wasn't perceived as a real threat to the establishment. John lennon was indeed followed by the FBI here in the USA, and at first John thought that he was just being paranoid but it became so obvious that he was being followed, wire-tapped etc . The editorial written about the Stones, " Who Breaks A Butter

I can't imagine a life without the thrills and chills I got since following them since 1964. What would I have done for fun? I would not have taken music lessons, never studied blues and blues guitar, never would have traveled to great places, met so many great people, had so many unique adventures! They are woven into the fabric of my life, they are a part of my DNA!

Tommy, that was well written and it's easy to understand your feelings; I'd have to agree that some who got into Morrison might have romanticized him too much and followed him down that deadly path. I happen to like Doors music, I don't much like the thought that being a " follower" of Jim caused drug addiction and death. I'm sure it did happen, however and that'

Morrison was a product of the times taken a few steps further. Look at Timothy Leary leading the hippies to LSD and all of those " Magic mushrooms" that supposedly lead to enlightenment.( Look at Mick in Performance and the scene with the mushrooms), Morrison was certainly a unique talent, I happen to like alot of his writings and music and The Doors were a very influential band, differ

The only reason that I wonder about the new theory is what would the nightclub owner have to hide if Morrison died on the throne after an overdose unless he was the supplier of the herion. So what if he died at his club? Morrison was an adult who was obviously hiding his drug use, somewhat, by going into a bathroom stale. The club owner is not responsible for the overdose simply because he owned

How do they keep this stuff out of the news!? I read everything about our Boys and these accidents sure got by me; I think I heard about Ronnie but Charlie's rather recent accident was obviously covered up. I thought the same thing, Edith, wondering how LARGE is my ROCK that I apparently live under?
