I don't think they played in on No Security Tour. And they cut a couple other warhorses on that tour as well and added some deeper cuts... made for a great tour! That is why No Security Tour is my pick for the next From the Vault DVD release!!!

The 78 live versions are great. Only Keith and Ronnie can turn a disco song into a blues song with those beautiful guitar licks. Nasty. So good. I like Mick's rambling lyrics. Classic Stones.

My vote is for a show from the No Security tour. They were some of the best Stones shows I went to.

I can tell you for certain that I saw STP open for the Stones on August 19th, 1994 in Toronto... Voodoo Lounge. It was my 17th birthday and my very first Stones show.

To calarify, I have the blue ray. Watch Black Limousine. Pay attention to the little things... how quickly the guitar players hands move, how little manurisms are "quick jerks" instead of fluid motions, how quickly Mick's hair blows in the breeze. There is what should be a slow fade into a close up but it instead zooms right in too quickly, etc. Take that song and watch it. You can

Hello everyone. I was watching the Brixton Academy DVD from Totally Stripped. Love it. Great era, the band is playing great, love the energy. I did notice on a few songs they sped up the video. On a couple songs, its like watching it with someone hitting fast forward. I understand sometimes the video speed will be made to go a little faster for a live show on DVD. I get that, but it should

Quoteminimick1009 Quotemickjagger1009 Hello everyone. "Minimick1009" is my 8 year old son. We are taking him to his first Stones show, the Buffalo show. This will be my 15th show, but I have a new kind of excitement this time to be able to take my son. He loves the music and I think he will have a great time. We will stop by Hammers Lot, before going to our 8th row seats! We will

Very memorable experience. A lot of walking and tough getting around at times for little legs, but he did well. Jr really caught his second wind for the later half of the show, once we settled in, and really loved hearing some of his favorite tunes. Hammers Lot was cool, thanks again. I have a good picture of my son and I in front of his Stones sign. Is there a way to post the picture in thi

I first got into the Stones when I was 12. It was 1989, during the Steel Wheels "come back". It got me hooked. I remember the jokes about their age back then! If you told me at that time that I would be almost 40 years old and be able to take my own 8 year old son to see the Stones, I would have bet EVERY penny against it. I would have laughed so hard, like it was a complete joke.

**I just received an email from AEG with show info. It says that part of Abbott Road, the road that Hammers Lot is on, will be closed the day of the show. Hammer, does this affect us??? Here is that part of the AEG email, pasted below: "Abbott Road will be closed to all vehicle traffic between the south entrance of Lot 2 ADA and the north entrance of Lot 6 ADA on event day, beginning a

Hello everyone, very excited about the Buffalo show. Thank you so much for the pre-show offer, very generous. It would be great to meet up with everyone. Getting a cab out to the show shouldn't be a problem (I'm guessing). I'm also staying downtown and don't want to worry about driving afterwards. It seems like getting a ride home would be more difficult, with traffic a

No, they didn't ditch it. They changed the point of the show that they used it. They starting using it for Mick's return after Keith's set. Mick reentered the show for the stretch run using it... instead of using it at the very beginning of the show.

Voodoo Lounge!!! I didn't like B2B as much, but No Security was a great rebound... loved it. I'll stick with VL though as my answer because Ronnie was still a force then and wasn't on No Security. Going to smaller venues for the first time in a long time really allowed the Stones to bounce back on No Security.

QuoteBlueranger Surprised by all the hate for the Voodoo Lounge album and tour here. I still regard it at as their best album since Tattoo You. And the live shows were highly regarded as an improvement over the Steel Wheels tour, which I think is true. In my humble opininon, the modern era Stones, were never better as a live band than on the Voodoo tour. Those live recordings from 1995 appeari

Quotemr edward Saying the Crowes are just Stones-Faces copy cats just shows that one hasn´t listened to the Crowes output since 1992. Since then they moved on. Listen to Before The Frost... and the Allman Bros. and The Band come to mind immediately. Great stuff, really worth a spin. With Jacky on board they might try another angle, which I´m really looking forward to. Exactly. If you think

I love the song and in my pipe dream I was really hoping they'd play it live with Taylor, although I obviously wasn't holding my breath. You have to say that after all those years, decades even, that its pretty amazing the two Mick's could get together again and put out a song that good. It makes you wonder what else they could have done together over all that time. Five years
