Quotesteffialicia Saw it last night. Fabulous picture. Agreed. That had to be one of the most brutally honest and candid documentaries I've ever seen. Very well done. Nothing really hidden or downplayed. All of the successes and tragedies laid bare. Rare home movies throughout. Insightful interviews with Marlon and Angela.

QuoteRocky Dijon Quotesouldoggie Maybe some on here will enjoy this.... then again, maybe not. All good. That was very good and good fun. Your guitar and your drummer, in particular. Well done. No offense to your bass player, but I don't have ear buds with me so I can't judge. As for your keyboard player, he does a better job than I could and was less distracting than the backi

Here are my buddies and I attempting to play Whole Wide World a week after the release in October. We only played through it a couple of times; it was a lot of fun to play. I'm playing guitar - it's just a hobby band - we get together and play once a week in my basement, just for fun. We had a singer, but he got married and quit a couple of years ago, so the fellow singing is N

Quotebig4 QuoteRocky Dijon Purely speculation, but I would imagine Anita played a part as a major or minor lyrical subject of You Got the Silver, Monkey Man, You Can't Always Get What You Want, Wild Horses, I Got the Blues, Moonlight Mile, Sweet Virginia, Loving Cup, Happy, Angie, Hand of Fate, Crazy Mama, Let Me Go, Down in the Hole, All About You, Too Tough, and Thief in the Night at a min

Lem, nice to hear from you, I had no idea you were at the Cleveland 78 show...yes, I remember Tosh handing out the spliff to the crowd...I have brief snippet of film showing just that (probably why I remember it so well)...heck you may be in the 15-minute silent super 8 footage I took that day for all I know. Remember the weird almost circus act that appeared above the stage right before the S

QuoteMathijs I always wonder how people can say they were at a 'bad' 1975 or 1978 show, and then say the 1994 or 2002 or 2014 show was excellent. Any 1975 or 1978 show is about 100 times better than any show after 1990. There simply is no contest. Mathijs Totally agree. Cleveland '75 and Cleveland '78 were absolutely fantastic shows. I was on the rail for both, wh

I saw the James Gang in 1968 at the Ohio State Fair, my Dad took the family to the fair and there they were, playing on a stage set up outdoors. The first concert I bought tickets for was Deep Purple at Hara Arena, Dayton, Ohio, fall of 1972. The "fake" Fleetwood Mac, on tour at the time, was the warm-up act. In the Spring of 1970, I begged my mom to buy me a ticket for Jimi Hend

I picked up this 45 in the early 80's at a used record store. There are quite a few bluegrass versions of Wild Horses out there...but I always liked the tempo on this one. Plus, I've a weakness for the Bango, love it

How fun is that - Mick releasing a new song out of nowhere. The lyrics are hilarious and Grohl is great on it. Mick laughing at the end of the video says it all to me - just trying to spread some joy and have a little fun during this dreary period of history. Thank you!
