Bon Jovi do this Live but not in the studio. There reason is that they strain there voices less over the long set. Does sound reasonable and probably easier for audience to try and sing along!

I saw his show in Hyde Park in 2006, the first half was Pink floyd stuff with one solo song and one new song. The second half was Dark Side of the Moon with Nick Mason on drums and was amazing. He finished with Brick pt 2 and C numb for an encore. The first set felt and sounded very like a floyd show but was slightly marred by the sunlight, Waters compensated by beign a great stadium frontman!! w

I acutally put in a bid (or two) on one the guitars, I new it had never been used by the man but it was a guitar i had tried and had considered buying a few years back. The expected sale price was between £200- £400. I was a bit shocked when the bidding shot way beyond that and it sold for around $10,000. At least the cash goes to a good cause!

I saw the Monkees in '98 (i think) It was the only full reunion tour (i think). The sad thing is that Mike Nesbitt couldn't really play anymore. I seem to remeber Peter Tork playing some of his trademark intros. I could be wrong.

They didn't play Wembley to the small issue of it not being built on time. Bon Jovi were due to open it and had to move there shows to Milton Keynes, the rumor was that the Wembley owners had to pay a massive compensation payent to them because of the problems caused.
