The TOUP DTS CD's which were done are superb in soundquality, however thet are NOT official releases ! You can call them as counterfeits/bootlegs. All the 5 different Stones albums (and mnay Beatles) can be downloaded on the internet.

Hi Tom, As far as I know, these longboxes were done in the USA once for an optical commercial look to sell an album and once to prevent the stealing of CDs. The manufactures thought that a longbox was more difficult to steal. As for the (Stones) fans, these boxes are just nice to complete the collection, however many people buying an album for the CD and not for the box. Therefore many boxes
