QuoteDandelionPowderman Fender Rhodes by Jagger on Memory Motel and Fool To Cry. By Chuck Leavell on She Was Hot (?). Preston plays Clavinet on Heartbreaker, 100 Years Ago and Fingerprint File. On If You Can't Rock Me, too? i think jagger is playing a real piano on Memory Motel. no fender rhodes.

really interesting! the second one (album etc.) sounds more like a "band version" - the itunes one cleaner and more modern jagger solo stuff.

QuoteCMan Seems like they pasted in the "Sway" credits for "Happy" (and added Ian in the process). Matt Clifford was reportedly there when Taylor added his guitar to "Plundered My Soul", so his credit makes sense. Mick Taylor once said that the "friend" credited with "Tumbling Dice" backing vocals along with Clydie and Vanetta was in fact him.

Quotedcba I think I read in the new liner notes "co-produced by Don Was". Imho this wave of revisionism is going too far... not the "original" 18 exile songs. (only) the bonus section is produced by jimmy miller, don was & the glimmer twins.

QuoteCMan Haven't seen the new liners yet myself, but it sounds like a bunch of crap. There are no strings on "Happy", Keith has stated in interviews going back to '72 that he played all the guitars & bass on that one, with Jimmy M. on drums, and Mick T. stated in a 1980 interview that he played bass on "Shine A Light". Heck, even Wyman confirms that it's

Quotemrfancyman Is "Stones In Exile" an extended version of the Bonus DVD that will be released with the extra deluxe EOMS? Or do they have both some exclusive footage for each release? If all of the Bonus DVD is also on Stones In Exile, I don't see a point, unless for the book, to buy the extra deluxe version. Mr.Fancyman. really good question - i was asking myself the same

Quotejamesfdouglas Actually, I remember reading in an interview that the two songs which he wrote for his 'wandering spirit follow-up' which never happened were actually Out of Control and Saint Of Me - the two best songs, by far, on the album. yes!! saint of me & out of control (togehter with you got me rocking) could have benn great 90´s stuff into the 2000´s live concerts.....

the "shine a light" version - far better than 89/90 - more drive, more punch, better sound (compared to flashpoint - start me up sounds like a little plastic ghettoblaster :-)
