i wish it could be keith on piano. but i don´t think so. a few bars in the beginning - yes...but during the song there are too many little licks, here and there, and that´s too fast and quick for keith. it sounds like a "pro". keith on piano (listen to the toronto tape) is more rhythm, chord-playing. no lines oder melodies. and on other recordings (thief in the night, love is overd

there are great keith-bass-lines in the song - and the sound is very much like keith´bass on "crosseyed heart". maybe he played the bass on the "backing track"?

QuoteLieB QuoteMathijs Quoteastmalia In my ears, the sound of the piano in RT is the same as SFTD. Drums and the absolutely fantastic sounding acoustic as well. Mathijs Yep, that track was the biggest and happiest surprise, IMHO. No way that was recorded in '66 as some people here suggested. for sure it is from around 1969...the way charlie doing the breaks (and the overall drum so

Quoteliddas QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Just curious - how are you sure it is Bill on Bass? Me curious too! All I can hear is a generic bass following the chord changes. C it is a typical wyman playing, phrasing bass - comparing to other songs recorded during this time & sessions....

Hey Folks, something i realized, comparing the released version with the demo-version: on the demo bill is playing bass - and on the released version there is keith (like it´s noticed in the linernotes)..... poor bill ;-) Demo: Official Version:

…heard the album today…what can i say: f*** great. "all of your love" is maybe the best jagger-vocal-performance ever recorded on a stones-studio-record. screamin! "hoo doo blues" - jagger smooth mood. like the deep phrases in "all the way down" or "dead flowers" from stripped.

are we sure it´s charlie on drums? for me it sounds more like ronnie (like the sleep tonight drums) because it is too "less tight" for charlie and the breaks (there aren´t that many) for example at 2:34 is more lke the final dirty work track with ronnie on drums….what do u think?

Many Session-Musicians used by Randy in the 70´s and early 80´s period are the same as in the Stones, Wood, Richards, Watts Circle: Jim Keltner & Andy Newmark (Drums), Lenny Castro (Percussion), Willie Weeks (Bass), Ernie Watts, Jim Horn & Chuck Findley (Brass), Waddy Wachtel & Ry Cooder (Guitar)
