Wow, lots of posts for the Vancouver thread, already on page 3 when all the others are on first page still! So, apart from the locals, where is everybody flying/driving in from? How many from other parts of Canada?

I saw on the BC Place map that the sections right next to the stage weren't for sale so perhaps those are being held for Friday when they go on sale to the general public? Don't think there's going to be many tickets left for the other presales that start tomorrow.

I actually just refreshed and was put back in the queue but there was only 19 ahead so I'm back in again. Hopefully when I refresh in 12 minutes I don't get kicked out and back in the queue!

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteDGA35 To treacle, babyblue, beasty and others looking at Vancouver tickets. Ticketmaster has a layout of BC Place for tickets. Below the map it says it does not reflect availability of tickets, however, it does look pretty detailed including the layout of the floor with pit, A and B sections and rear general admission. My biggest surprise is that there's sections tha

This is a pretty good version. Another really good version from the 80s is by Bryan Adams. His raspy voice actually reminds me a bit of Keith's. Don't know how to link it but you can find it easily on Youtube.

Quotedonvis Ironbelly can you please tell me which of those have the wide stereo? I would love to purchase those. These were the first CD's that I know of that had stereo versions of Heart of Stone, Satisfaction, Get Off of My Cloud and Mother's Little Helper. Satisfaction has Brian's acoustic and piano on one channel that are very clear. Cloud is similar, guitar and Mick o

Looking on Ticketmaster at the BC Place info, theres quite a few presale opportunities now. AARP, VIP, Preferred seating, Artist, Venue, Promotor, Sponsor, Local Radio, Ticketmaster. I got the email from Stones saying I'll be sent a code for artist, but I wonder how you get presales for some of the others? I wonder if American Express is considered sponsor since AARP is listed separtely?

To all our American neighbours, Happy Thanksgiving. Good football games going on today. In Canada, our Thanksgiving is your Columbus Day. Black Friday deals started happening up here several years ago, now every retailer pretty much has Black Friday deals. We still have Boxing Day sales, which is the day after Christmas, but Black Friday seems just as big these days.

QuoteMDMan72 Very disappointed in the lack of Midwest Shows. Only Chicago as Cleveland and Denver are not in the Midwest. I realized they played Minneapolis and Detroit in 2021. But why not a Concert in Milwaukee or Kansas City. Both Cities last saw the Stones in 2015. I'm sure all of Canada outside of Vancouver is also disappointed in only 1 show here! I'm actually a bit surprised t

QuoteDeanGoodman Quotegotdablouse So AARP sponsoring wasn't a joke ;-) Indeed. The "comedians" were right ... 40 years ago. Too bad the Stones outlasted them. BTW, I don't think you have to be that old to join AARP. But the marginal benefits are outweighed by the mountain of junk mail and spam after they've sold your details to marketing companies. I'm sure ot

Well Taylor Swift has just announced 3 shows in Vancouver in Dec 2024 at BC Place. I'm sure they'll sell out fast with lots of fans coming in from out of province, probably lots from places like Edmonton and Calgary as well as the States. Only other act to do 3 shows there was when the Jackson's Victory tour came in 1984. I heard she puts on a good show so I might try to get tic
