There are many "classic rock" bands that are still touring with only one or two original members. The vast majority of the crowd wouldn't know the difference. Foreigner is doing their farewell tour and there's no original band members! I saw the Black Crowes a couple years ago and apart from the Robinsons, I have no idea if any of the others were original members. Same as

QuoteTopi Easy pass! I'm not travelling to see these guys. The 2008 and 2009 Black Ice shows will remain the only times I saw them live, glad I did. For those going, I salute you for sure. Hoping for North American dates in the fall. I'll definitely go if/when they announce a BC Place show. Seen them in 83/88/91/91/91/96/03/08/15 in Vancouver. I'm pretty sure this will be

QuoteVoodooLounge13 There are many bands with just a couple original members still - The Stones, The Who, AC/DC previously, hell even Metallica only has two original members!!! The difference is some of these bands have been carrying on with the same replacements for decades now. So long so that it’s become almost acceptable. This new incarnation of AC/DC is above and beyond that. It’s not much

A little over a week before they filmed their videos from Oakland Coliseum for Unchained, So This Is Love and Hear About It Later. If you watch the Youtube vids, that's basically what I saw! Of all the times I've seen VH, 81,82,84,86,91,95,07,12, that was the best. First Stones was Steel Wheels at

I'm going to guess sometime in mid 65 just based upon how short Brian's hair still is, as well as Keith's.

QuoteCarnaby Looking back at ticket prices, it's so funny that the most expensive tickets are $25 and then the next are $23. Would somebody think to themselves, I'm not paying an extra $2 for a better seat?

Quotekeefgotsoul You can clearly hear a 2nd guitar in YCAGWYW at the rock n roll circus in 25x5. Yes, I mentioned this many years ago here. I believe it was mentioned that it was overdubbed afterwards. I was surprised when I first saw the R'n'R Circus and listening to YCAGWYW and Brian's guitar wasn't there.

Bit off topic but today the World Cup dates were announced and BC Place will host 7 games while Toronto will host 6! Doubt I'll going to any of the games, tickets will probably be very expensive. It'll be interesting to see the type of grass they lay in the stadium for the tournament. On another soccer note, Miami will be in town this spring to play the Whitecaps and tickets went pre

QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteTopi Bassists are like underwear. Need to change every once in a while. Cliff has been with the band the whole time. Pretty crappy time to now swap out another. And if Phil's out, what do you have Brian and Angus? I guess that's basically what the Stones are these days, too, except Brian isn't original, so then they really aren't much different th

It seems a lot of country bands have multiple guitarists! I remember seeing Brooks and Dunn on the Tonight Show I believe, and they had just as many as the Eagles!

You won't get in for less than $100 at the QET. Even though I sho

Congrats to US. One advantage Sweden would have is the North American players aren't used to playing on the larger ice surface like the Europeans are. Should be a good final game.

Bit off topic, but Canada sure choked today in the Spengler Cup semi final in Davos. Up 3-2 with about 4 minutes left, let in 3 late goals to lose! TSN here in Canada shows both World Juniors and Spengler Cup over the holidays. I don't usually watch the Spengler unless Canada is in the finals but tuned into the third period of this game. Didn't recognize any of the players but coach

QuoteTopi Too bad the Hawks didn't loan Bedard to Hockey Canada. I thought that originally, but at this point, he's already won it twice and he's playing awesome in the NHL now. It would be a step backwards for him to go back to play in a junior tournament. Macklin Celebrini is looking great in the tournament so far for Canada, and is projected to go first overall in the 2024 N

Not as easy to follow games in Canada with the time difference! Cheering for Canada but hoping the US does well since 4 Blackhawks draft picks are playing for them! Connor Bedard is exceeding expectations, scoring highlight reel goals last night and last Saturday!

QuoteBosmatic1 Not sure, seems to be two rows in the lower bowl back side of stadium. I’d rather have a front row upper bowl than an obstructed view lower. I was in what was considered nose bleed for Seattle 2019 but the big screens made it feel like a local bar, especially the small stage set. BC place has pretty sweet viewing from most seats so I was wondering if it was a part of the tour st

QuoteFeelslikeaGhost Just got a message saying my seats for Denver are now considered limited view, I assume they are referring to the lighting/sound towers obstructing our view of the stage. Disappointed to say the least. I don't want to refund my Tickets because nothing left is better than what I have, and I live in Colorado so it would be silly to miss this show. Anyone got any ideas?
