Mathijs, you're dead right! La Futura is one of ZZtop best efforts: it sounds fresh and well produced. It reaaly rocks! I think D&G radio edit , on the contrary, sounds dated, so 80's, very flat. Way far better though not a masterpiece the Itunes version that sounds like a Stones song. ciao m.

the iTunes version is quite another song! more stonesy, less jaggerish. keith guitar, more prominent, as well the slide part give the song a completely different feel and sound. and charlie is ... charlie not a drum machine. I like it more.

mixed feelings at the apollo last night. a truly great ronnie wood, really inspired and focused, an histrionic band leader, a great guitar player not so well supported by most of his friends. I've really enjoyed ronnie alone with his guitar, 15 minutes worth ticket price. I think Ronnie is one of the most underrated musician, he deserves more! Would love to see this band - call it Faces or New Faces - live even without Rod. Mick Hucknall fits in very well, great voice, powerful and soulful. I guess he will be one of Ronnie's friend at the Hammersmith Apollo, end of June. Can't wait ... ciao
