QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotejackflash27 Listening to Live at Racket for the first time. I resisted the CD and all online versions. I must say, I'm quite impressed. For multiple reasons: 1) Sound quality of the vinyl is really good. Nice separation of the stereo channels, all instruments are on a good level in the mix. Sounds really fresh and energetic. 2) The songs really come alive on th

QuoteJalfstra I scored Live at Racket on saturday at the end of the afternoon in Utrecht, Holland. I was pretty surprised that there were still two copys left. The debut album was sold out unfortunately (They got 5 and sold all of them in the first hour of RSD) I hope I can buy it online once the RSD leftovers are added in webshops. Both far from sold out. Check velvet (leiden) website, or

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteIrix Quotejackflash27 About Got Live If you want it!: is this the LP or the EP? Even more confusion: also shows the EP version. But the Amazon pictures show a LP version with 2024 copyright & same barcode. So the release date is May 17, though the actual RSD date is April 20, just to add to the fun. When I check RSD's list there are 2 stones releases,

Quote1963luca0 Quote1963luca0 It seems that vinyl shortage has somehow postponed their release. Still, I believe that ABKCO won’t give up completing their program. Let’s wait… The waiting is over... the programme will be completed, even if with some delays. So, what are the releases we are waiting for? Now!, GLIYWI, what else?

I never forget the impact 25x5 had on me when I saw this on tv for the first time. I was 16 or 17 and was only discovering the Stones. I think Paint it black was my first introduction to the Stones (thanks to the tv show Tour of Duty), then I bought Steel Wheels and Rewind on CD and that was that. Then came 25x5. Luckily I recorded it from TV, and watched it a million times the next few years. I
