Quotedead.flowers So he could not resist. Is it now 2 x 10,000 quid fine for him or how does that calculate. And he brought back the curse: England lost. So see you all in 2076. This is really awful to read. I had a friend who for some circumstances was considered a curse bearer, committed suicide because of this. Nothing personal, but you should never label people like that, regardless o

QuoteCaptainCorella In the UK if your are (any of) rich, famous, powerful, you can do what the F* you want. Rules only apply to the Great Unwashed. It's how Boris has things set up. Sorry but have you seen the game? Have you seen how many English fans have entered the stadium without a ticket? Did you see how full the stadium was? The rich can always do what they want is just demagogue

I liked SAL, it's certainly not my favorite, but I'm not negative about it either. The difference with other Stones concert films is that this film captures the Stones in a more intimate dimension. I bought the DVD and still watch it today, I also like bonuses like Undercover and I'm Free.

QuoteTheGreek QuoteRokyfan Karma. They f***ed their fans who traveled to Atlantic City to be told at the last minute that the show was canceled so they could do the show at the beacon for their model/Clintons audience. A low point in their history all around Yes , as I was looking forward to the Boardwalk Hall concert until we were checking in to our hotel and we had to be told by some

QuoteRocktiludrop QuoteTravelinMan First of all, Taylor never hired a lawyer and specifically said “I wrote these songs.” He said he feels like n retrospect he should have received some credit. He said he expected some credit and Jagger told him he would. He also said the songs would have been written, perhaps, but they wouldn’t have sounded the way they did. The Stones are a different animal

QuoteRocktiludrop After watching this i have to think is there a better guitarist in the world, i don't think so, and had he been touring with the Stones at this time their shows might have been unequalled. I don't think this has ever been important to the band. The Stones were never a band of great musicians, but of musicians who together produced something exceptional. Otherwise af

QuoteDandelionPowderman Bill played on Miss You, though. That's your example. Of course he is credited with the bass, personally I find it a style far from his, but when I read that the bass was originally played by Billy Preston, I got a clear idea of the matter. But beyond that, Bill has never done solos on Miss You, so I think Mick J. thought it was for him to play M.Y. or HTW or IORR wo

Quote24FPS QuoteTestify Quotewavelength Quote24FPS Look what they did with Bill. No wonder he jumped off early. Put him on Honky Tonk Women and It's Only Rock and Roll. One song he didn't have a lot to do, and the other he wasn't on the studio version. They wouldn't put him on something he shined on like Miss You or Start Me Up. It shows the duplicitous and petty ways of MJ.

Sorry but I find some surreal posts, Ronnie has had cancer and it's not the first time, Charlie has also had cancer, right now the most active seems to be Ronnie, at least that's what you see the most these days, between photos and videos of him with the guitar in his hand. How's Charlie? I hope well, Mick has seen it well in the last public releases, Keith I hope well even if you

QuoteMingSubu Well it is a business and the show must go on. Not at any cost! We are not talking about a band in its infancy, but a band that if it plays again it will only be a miracle! Neither Mick nor Keith nor Charlie are considering touring without Wood, it's just a question of respect.

In my opinion, things must be contextualized, like some terms used in the past and today not very pleasant. I don't think Clapton is racist, or rather we are all racists, the difference is the culture of the people and I find it hard to believe that Clapton's always musically blues culture makes him a racist. He may have taken a tough stance on immigration, but that doesn't mean b

Quote1963luca0 In Italy, we have a very popular song festival/contest yearly held in San Remo, nearby the French border. Usually, foreign acts perform as geuest stars, but in the Sixties things were different. At the time, each Italian singer was coupled with a foreign singer/group who would sing their song in Italian. As a consequence, many foreign superstars sung in Italian. If my memory serve
