Quotedmay Funny. Just the other day was having a discussion with some folks regarding Plant and Allison Krauss. What a great duo. Noted how Plant is a fellow traveler in terms of looking at new sounds, stuff removed for the most part from the LZ catalogue, though he does do LZ stuff in shows. Not terribly interested but think about it, how about the Stones do a 2023/2024 update to one of their great albums. A 2024 version of Exile or Beggar's Banquet or Sticky Fingers. Would be more interesting than a "new" album that has been rumored for years.

I saw Lou Gramm at a festival type show in Vegas in 2018. He went from a poor man's Robert Plant to a pudgy short guy with a band of poseurs, They knew all the moves from watching Youtube but musically were on par with 9 years olds learning how to play Guitar Hero. Atrocious set. Kind of made Axl Rose of 2023 seem like Mick Jagger. Would I go? Not even with comps.

It's this weekend and I flew in from a connection in Amsterdam. There are flights and trains into Bergen. Festival runs through Saturday but traveling south to Werchter for TW Classic with Bruce Springsteen tomorrow. For anyone who wants to go to a festival but hates festival BS this is the one. First of all Bergen is an amazing and beautiful city and they do their festival in a 600 year old medieval fort.
