QuoteDoc Quoteshattered Ya know, I just opened this thread and realized he wasn't at the Ahoy in 2003. You are mistaken, he was there, as was I. Thanks Doc!

Quotebeachbreak RIP to a great guitar player. Check out Skynyrd live at Knebworth in the late 70's. Killer band with three great guitarists and a good front man in Ronnie Van Zant. Sorry to hear. Got That Right! This was one bunch that belonged on stage and together! Knebworth which leads to this gem: Lynyrd Skynyrd Old Grey Whistle Test '75 Pardon th

QuoteTumblinDice76 Quotedownagain An announcement to cancel an announcement feels like a Monty Python sketch. I literally laughed out loud when I read this! Appreciate your lighter perspective! Me too! Wasn't there a line from Spinal Tap that "you can't promote something that doesn't exist?"

Um, this took a little time to sink in. I saw the title: Re: Jeff Beck (1944 - 2023) and thought it was his greatest hits. I always thought that Nigel Tufnel in Spinal Tap looked just like Jeff. Thoughts are with Jeff's family.

QuoteHairball I always enjoy Hendrik's awesome pics, and this should be an amazing photo book. Can't help but think of Neil Young every time I see the title (Neil), but it applies nicely to the Stones as well. Looking forward to it! Maybe some day Bjornulf will also do a book with all of his amazing photo's accompanied with all of his stories... HB, I'll bet you have

Quotecrholmstrom Quotetreaclefingers Quotecrholmstrom I've given up paying huge dollars for bands playing strictly the oldies with no valid new material in years or decades. and you call yourself a Stones fan. HMMPF! I'm still a fan of their music but I don't think I'd pay big bucks or travel for them anymore. My last show in 2019 was fantastic & I'd rather leav

Quotebitusa2012 I’m one who’s long thought, HOPED, going on past experience, that they would be in Australia in Feb/Mar 2023. But surely that would have been announced and, in fact, on sale by now? It’s only 4-5 months away after all. I’ve now given up hope. Rod Rod, don't give up. I'm rooting for you and Rockee to get some shows. It's time to go south!
