Just got #3923/10,000 from ABKCo in Ferndale, MI USA. Have not yet opened it, as I have an engagement this evening. OTHER than colored-wax, is there anything different with the new Box than the 2016 Box? I presume there are no 7" therein, but otherwise, anyone notice anything different? Thanks to all.

I own both, and the RSM-1 is acknowledged in the collecting world to be the rarer of the 2 LPs. There were approximately 12-15 RSM-1s signed by the whole band (except Bill signed for Charlie!) at a press event in October(?) 69. There were also hand-alterations to the publishing printing on the back covers of some of the RSM-1s, because publishing credits were either wrong or unauthorized, a

QuoteNashvilleBlues Pink Floyd recently released 18 live performances from 1972. All contain Dark Side of the Moon and most have a handful of other songs. These non-Dark Side tracks are rarely less than 10 minutes long, Echoes surpasses 30 minutes on a couple of occasions. Just bought London February 18, 1972 from iTunes. Anyone here know how to convert these to files that can be burned

Quotetimbernardis This guy has nearly the entire Stones catalog listed as individual Sealed Vinyl LPs. Look at the other Stones items/albums he is selling. Highly doubtful. plexi My thoughts exactly. I have never seen someone so "lucky" to have found so many vintage, expensive "sealed" LPs. There's another guy from Oak Park, IL who also sells these, but no one i

Quotetreaclefingers It does look sketchy, but the guy has 25000+ ratings and is sitting at 100% so that's a tough one. Easy for me...I'm not spending $2400 on a sealed copy of anything. It might all be in the up-and-up, but look at the guy's past sales. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY gets that many sealed LPs......... Happy 2023 to you, Treacle. Don't forget our email exc

This guys repeatedly sells what appear to be "re-seals" or sealed LPs the date of which none can verify with promo stickers like the one seen here. Many among us active collectors repeatedly see people pay outrageous prices for what many of us think are fakes, hoaxes, and/or misrepresentations. 15-20 years ago when eBay was different and actually policed, stone-relics and I used to go

QuoteCongratulations QuoteElmo Lewis The lyrics reflect a different time - before everyone became so "enlightened" and easily offended. It's only rock and roll. I'm neither enlightened or offended... Great music is timeless, and (to my ears) never needs to be changed, explained or banished. Quite well said on both ends .......

I imagine some will kvetch, but I have always disliked this song to the point where I delete it from downloads, do not add and/or skip it on playlists, and do all possible to avoid it. Always thought it was among the lamest and boring songs the band ever did. It drags, drags, drags, and draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagz. Snore of a song. I know many'all disagree, and that's ok.

Looks like an amazing work and a real labor of love - congratulations, Congratulations! Curious as to what inspired you to omit certain covers like Flesh for Lulu's Jigsaw Puzzle, Rickie Lee Jones' Sympathy for the Devil, and a real classic (IMHO) Grand Funk's Gimme Shelter? NO criticism intended, just curious, and thanks again for sharing!

Judas Priest, Eminem, Duran Duran, Carly Simon, Harry Belafonte, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Pat Benatar, and Lionel Ritchie? Each has hits and are/were very talented, but am I the only one who thinks that this thing called the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is reducing itself to giving away "participation trophies"? Some of the foregoing, like Eminem, Belafonte, & Parton clearly b

Quotewiredallnight The Chameleon bootleg is for sure NOT the one to get from the boots, because it is copied from vinyl inclusive crackles. Much better are the CDs from VGP: VGP-002, 011, 025, 088. Wired, a couple pops in YCAGWYW never bothered me, because if you play it loud, it rocks amazingly to where they are so easy to miss. On the Chameleon Brussels, I really dig: 1. the transitio

I am sure that some y'all will say "already covered", but I searched. I love both the Brussels we grew up with via Bedspring Symphony, Europe 73 (Royal Sound) and the CD releases of Brussels Affair on Chameleon. Hot schtuff, as an old friend was wont to say. However, there are trax on the Chameleon ("boot" version) that I so prefer to the official releases from 201

QuoteRisingStone The Rolling Stones already stepped into the ‘Vegas’ realm in 1981 before morphing into the post-89, fully-fledged modern Stones. The pre-arranged encore was part of that procedure. I agree with you, RisingStone, but the erratic quality of performances from night to night suggests that their initial "Vegas" phase was approached with a certain "cavalier" (perh

QuoteJavadave I was at the 3/20/86 show at Hampton too, Stonestein. I got backstage that night, but was out in the middle of the floor in front of the soundboard when Bob Weir said “now we’re going to prove that practice makes perfect” and they launched into Box Of Rain, eliciting a collective orgasmic reaction from the crowd. It was the first set closer, though, not the encore that night. Jav

Quoteretired_dog QuoteGivenToFly15 Imo this is nothing but pure fake: 1. The fact alone that the setlist is reshuffled is proof that it can't be an original concert recording. 2.
