The Black Keys are probably my favorite current rock band that comes close to the main stream. Guns and Roses and Nirvana were the last big ones. Nirvana spawned a big group of follow ups in the early to mid 90s. Nickelback killed what Nirvana started. I like The Foo Fighters, but they aren't putting hit singles in the top ten.
