I'd say with the small number of shows, he lost money. You gotta pay for the stage and a lot of set up costs. Probably 15 shows in it starts making money at $50 per ticket.

Did you get to witness, first hand, Slash's reaction when Keith turned him down on playing on "Thru and Thru", then letting you add a guitar part? Also, is there some very light level of phaser added to one or both of Keith's amps in his most well-known open G sound?

The Black Keys are probably my favorite current rock band that comes close to the main stream. Guns and Roses and Nirvana were the last big ones. Nirvana spawned a big group of follow ups in the early to mid 90s. Nickelback killed what Nirvana started. I like The Foo Fighters, but they aren't putting hit singles in the top ten. Rock music is wide open for a band to really kick the music

Anybody that doesn't like "Wandering Spirit" is living in 1968. Great songs, great sound, and I'm usually a Keith guy. But this is a fantastic album. Would be better with Keith and Charlie playing their parts, but Mick made a classic here. To discredit me further, this, Talk is Cheap, Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon, Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exi

This may have been addressed here numerous times before, but I put my 'Exile' vinyl on tonight for the first time in a long while, and I want to know who plays the main riff on 'Ventilator Blues'. It's a brilliant song musically and lyrically. You give these albums a break, then listen to them like it's the first time, it's really quite inspiring. This kind o

I did this the last couple of years and lost. Sadly the contest is based on how many friends you can bring to the show, so our two man band can't get the numbers. Anyway, if any of y'all have time, follow the link, click on Decent exposure. Vote for The Non-Filters, if you think we are the best choice. The first time you have to register and wait for a verification email, which may go t

At least a few shows. I drove from KY to Chicago, and talked to a group in the hotel from Arkansas. Churchill Downs sold out and got 10000 seats added that also sold in 06.

Sorry. I feel stupid but my computer is down and my ticket master app on the phone is vague. What do I need to get my tix. I've got the order confirmation number and the card used to purchase. Is that all I need? And, if anyone writing the setlist is reading, please play "Out Of Control".

QuoteAlmostHearYouSigh Over the years I have grown tired of Keith but my sense is fans look more favorable on him than Mick. Why is that? Keith is rock and roll, yeah I get that but his everyman act is oh so tired. As much as he annoys me I feel a bit sorry for him becasue he is kind of pathetic at this stage. I don't think anyone would ever feel that about Mick. Why is there a feeling

On WKRP, he had a picture on his apartment wall of him with Mick Jagger. In one episode, his daughter and her boyfriend come to stay with him. The boyfriend points out the picture, which I had always noticed and says "wow , you know Mick Jagger... Can you put in a good word for me...Keith Richards can't last forever". Fever replies, "I'll let him know. We're going s

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are the same age as The Stones on Voodoo Lounge. Ridiculous. They took the fall for everybody, but Dylan is older.
