Wooa! This little gem is without a doubt the biggest surprise of the Some Girls deluxe. It's a real boogie and it's got some serious attitude!

About the song, it's certainly better than Lies. Always liked the way it rhymes in the verses. Not many stones songs do that.

Agree with you Justin, most of it is vintage but the "martini lunch" line sounds 2011 to me.

QuoteBashlets I think the song was always an outtake to be honest, and the stones kind of used the nonsense of not releasing it " due to legal reasons" as a way of increasing their bad boy image. There really isnt anything really libelous in the song if you listen to the lyrics. she admitted to shooting the guy, and the judge ruled it was an accident. Have you even heard the song? &qu

QuoteJustin haha well that's the one of the smoking guns right there...those lyrics were never in the original track.... The bolded area is the part of the song we hear in the sample. I thought we were talking about Love You Too Much, my mistake. Do You Think I Really Care Is obviously a new vocal.

Don't be so sure, he wouldn't have been able to duplicate his old vocals so precisely. For example the noise he makes after the line "Their all laughin' while I cry in my beer" and just before "I never give in". Can't be anything but vintage.

QuoteStonesTod QuoteHillside Blues QuoteStonesTod any predictions on what will be on the 2058 new stones album? I hear Fiji Jim will be included on that one. let's see now...jagger will be 115 then...hope his overdubs don't ruin it.... Not a problem. Jagger's grandson will do the overdub.

Quotesteffiestones "Was wants to tackle Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed or Sticky Fingers soon". Thats good news! I would rather have some 90's outtakes, like from Bridges To Babylon, nothing has leaked from those sessions. Hearing that stripped down Might As Well Get Juiced would be my holy grail.

What's the problem here? The song is on Sucking In The 70's. That's enough.

QuoteJustin QuoteWilliamPatrickMaynard "I Love You Too Much" is another standout. As with "Do You Think I Really Care" the lyrical changes appear to be minimal and the new vocal works well. I love this. Yes, I'm assuming it is a latterday vocal, but I'm not certain. Sounds like a 2011 overdub to me. Jagger just added some vocals in the chorus, the rest is from &#

Some info on Love You Too Much (I Can't Help it) on Keno's ROLLING STONES Web Site. "First recorded in late 1977, then again in early 1985, never released. There are several different versions of this song, the early ones have Mick Jagger singing lead, sounding like Johnny Rotten. Keith Richards, who wrote the song about Anita Pallenberg, hated the way it turned out. It was lat

QuoteErik_Snow QuoteHillside Blues Worth the mention is Slow Train Coming. Side one is a masterpiece. I was just wondering how come nobody having mentioned Slow Train Coming yet Yeah, it's kind of forgotten gem. Maybe people got trouble with his religious lyrics. But tracks like Precious Angel and the title track are easily one of his best.

Quotebig4 After reading the review here are some thoughts about the release: Claudine-nice to see they left it alone, even still with the original lyrics So Young-don't see the point in including this one. Do You Think I Really Care-"clearly enunciating the lyrics"-ouch! let's hope it doesn't mess up this "outtake classic" When You're Gone-it

QuoteStonesTod right, ER, not SG - but my general point is the same. claudine was deemed "good enough" by the band...so i don't think it's just perception that most of us like it cos it's an outtake... According to Bill Wyman himself about Claudine: "It's a great song, one of my favorites. It's a pity it wasn't on the album, really good. But I
