Some are specially chosen by the band and the band reps and others are likely suggested by booking agents based on availability. I wish they would dispense with the charade like a lot of other bands are doing. Even if I like the band, it's not a good environment.

QuoteDGA35 Quotepowerage78 That's absolutely true for me Mick, but he's not a hard rock singer, he's not Steven Tyler and he's certainly not Brian Johnson. Or I want to hear him sing Back In Black, Thunderstruck or For Those About To Rock. Exactly! I wonder how the songs would sound if they played in a lower key. I was surfing Youtube last night to check out the songs. G

Quoteroller99 QuoteDan I was there all day from the first B stage performers outside. Got a nosebleed ticket for $12.39 mainly to get in that area. Was upgraded to Sec 112 right before H.E.R. Fell asleep during Clapton. Santana was great. Thank you! I also thought Clapton lacked energy. I was there both nights, second night was better. To be honest if I would have looked at the Alice Cooper

Quotedaspyknows QuoteDan Quoteangee Who will be at the Crossroads Guitarfest on Sunday, aside from me and Daspyknows? I am watching prices drop but it would be a day of decision. Since Daspy has me outgunned it might not be worth the trouble. don't jinx me. Get your butt in a seat. it's webcasting anyway but I am more interested in the Crossroads village stuff. I don't think

I was going to down with $200 in my pocket just in case but the Covid testing rules kinda blew a hole in that and it was a longshot anyway.

Quoterbp Stones philosophy of minimum work for maximum profit means it ain't gonna happen. Weird, this is why I say it's likely to happen

Quotedesertblues68 Vegas might be for oldies but London and or New York would work. Look at Springsteen residency in New York it was a great success. The Stones could do a theatre show their own way of course. Most of their repertoire is suited to a small stage. Artists of all ages and genres play there now. I saw Miranda Lambert there 5 times! Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga at the Park MGM are huge

Quotebabyblue No residency at all. This band won’t do that. They love to travel and play to as many people they can. Does Keith ever even leave the hotel room? I know Charlie rarely did.

Quotespikenyc Wishful thinking but sorry I dont see it happening. Do you really think Keef or any of the Stones want to spend an extended amount of time in Vegas? The thing is they wouldn't have to. I know during The Who's residency they commuted from LA exactly due to Roger's temperamental throat and it wouldn't surprise me if Rod Stewart and Elton John did too. It's

This was exactly what I was thinking. I think the touring days are over to be honest. They can still stay in LA and commute in and out every 4 days. 14 shows or maybe 7 here and 7 somewhere else.

QuoteRG The Rolling Stones just posted ‘The Hackney Gazette’ on their official Instagram with the big title ‘Ronnie Wood reveals all’. This must be about his interview where he said ‘The Stones pencelid in to Tour USA next year.’ So.. there will hè a tour for sure! For sure ... unless the pencil has an eraser

QuoteRollingFreak I know its a rehearsal clip, but Brian doesn't sound too great there either. At least not good enough that I'm surprised that's what they'd share. Whole thing sounds pretty lackluster. Also, Axl could sing that Bon stuff really well, I'm surprised they'd have Brian singing some of it. Most of the Bon stuff they resurrected with Axl they hadn't

stumbled across using more club specific key words, some true gems on his channel, wonder if he got Keith there? Roger Daltrey of The Who sat in with Jack Tempchin's "Big Monday" band and sang three songs. The video begins with some footage of the backstage warm-up before the show. Out in the club, the audience included Pamela Anderson and then-boyfriend Kid Rock. 00:00 -

QuoteRollingFreak Steven Tyler publicly said he should make more than the other guys and, while its not polite to say that, he's absolutely not wrong. Its the same way I've always said Jagger should. Or that there's an argument there. There's no reason he needs to, but the shows of these respective bands live or die on how good Jagger and Tyler are. Richards and Perry got poin

Finally looked at Watt's credits and it's not encouraging. It's like Jagger is going for the youth market who will never know or care this exists. Still looking forward to hearing it, I could be suprised, especially if he is just punching up stuff Jagger already wrote and not just sharing credit with him.

We are well into the streaming era, I think people are overestimating the divide between band eras. Fans know they have a distinct 1970's era and are going to play songs from it. Not sure what the demographic at this show ws but I know a lot more kids are getting into them and they aren't buying Pump and the Armageddon soundtrack. Going to listen to the boot now but looks good on pa
