Quoteskorpio65 Thanks wiredallnight. This is my numbered copy This one is legit original copy. Price of 150€ (S&H included) is, probably, the best you can get for this one. Actually, in my local record store a sealed copy was collecting dust on a shelve for (almost) 2 years before it was sold. It was priced at 120€. This box was initially overpriced did not sold well. Yeah, let them use AI, remix and remaster all mono tracks to stereo! This will start another 100+ pages discussion how they failed again and missed an opportunity to do things right . Meanwhile, I shall stick to old-good London CDs with thacks in wide stereo, that allegedly originated from flat transfer of the original master tapes made by MFSL. PS. The only tracks in mono here are As Te

Quotewiredallnight Quoteironbelly ... Big pink box - depending on the number of the copy and the version of CD #23 Box *011914 is Chinese counterfeit. So, you know, worthless. Original CD #23 has a glitch (manufacturer's defect) in the beginning of I Think I'm Going Mad. Replacement #1 has wrong cue point (separation between tracks). Thus, the beginning of I Think I'm Going

There are a few questions about your listing. 1. What country are you from? Because, for example, a shipment from the US to EU will cost a fortune. A lot of people will skip at this point. 2. Are you planing to sell those as sets or separately disc by disc? One might be interested in a couple of discs that you listed but for sure will not start negotiations if you are selling sets. 3. Quotemariano Essentially, you do not miss a thing in terms of digital content. According to the announcement on Universal Music Japan, for Love You Live, Still Life and Flashpoint they used 2009 remaster. I.e., the brickwalled one, widely available for the whole world. For Brussels Affair they used 2020 master. It is the same CD as for Goats Head Soup superdeluxe. Similar for Live At Wembley 82,

In a past few years the prices for CDs dropped significantly. So, do not expect miracles. For sure, sealed CDs and DVDs could be priced higher, but not much. Also, everything strongly depends on edition/pressing. Early editions are more collectible than other. Lets say, Still Life on WEA with target label can cost more than average, up to $100 if the first version in original smooth si

Quotethkbeercan When the relationship between ABKCO and the Stones thawed a bit in the early 2000's, 3 cooperative projects appeared: 1) an expanded 40th anniversary reissue of "Get Yer Ya-Yas Out", 2) "40 Licks", the first greatest-hits compilation to feature songs from both ABKCO and Rolling Stones owned tracks, and 3) in 2006 another ABKCO CD singles collection. QuoteVoodooLounge13 Damn. Those prices are insane!! Why? These are normal prices from ebay crooks. The initial price (in-store) for the RS No.9 SHM-CD Live Collection was ~$115. The price on ebay is $284. The guy is simply taking advantage due to the fact this was a limited edition. He is in his rights. Those Japanese items go quick, and then the price on the secondary market is insane!! I tried ordering it back when it was announced and I couldn't, and now there's none left. Don't worry. If they start with live albums, you'll get those

QuoteSpud With a decent turntable k and system you certainly can hear the difference between new and well worn stampers...but with 50 & 60 year old records this is just one o many factors which will affect the sound. Some the best sounding old records are those which were looked after and kept clean, but played on primitive old record players with very crude styli. Those styli never got

QuoteGasLightStreet Not exactly off the subject but the Virgin MADE IN THE SHADE songs strangely have a little more life (or oomph) to them than the Virgin albums do, especially Brown Sugar, Tumbling Dice and Doo Doo Doo Doo. Think they were slightly EQed differently than the album masters were or... it's a tad bit hotter? Correct. Made In The Shade 2005 is new tape transfer and masterin

According to Japanese booklet that was included for Japanese only SHM-CDs (UICY-40031 or UICY-76017) Luxury (as well as Time Waits For No One) was trimmed and Fingerprint File was speed up to fit to LP. The initial master tape was kind of too long (49:12) to fit the LP with reasonable sound quality. Thus, original LP and old CBS CD have Luxury 4:31 and FF 6:37 Virgin CD - Luxury 5:01 and FF 6
