QuoteRobberBride Quotetiffanyblu For me at least I know they have been working extremely long and hard with it. More effort than just a couple of songs. There, thats the spirit! Agree, it really means a lot. Hopefully they have had a lot of fun doing it as well -

I just hope for a single that we all (almost) can agree is a good song. Then if I can wish… an album that is more versatile then the late ones. Modern sound, classic sound, well I don’t mind… but versatile!

Quotewupperstein QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteVoodooLounge13 So the 6th it is!!!! That website is cool!!! Love how ya keep hitting the glass and then it shatters (no pun intended!) into the countdown. They've really done a killer job on the marketing for this album. And I guess after 18 years, what the hell, it's kinda warranted!!! I am in the camp of 11 songs might be a bit short for

(However, the account @hackneydiamonds2023 with the profile photo of Hackney Empire was only set up in August. ) Guessing the April ones are legit but the August one isn't. Yet some big fans are following the one set up in August... I follow both just in case

Quotegeorgelicks Forty Licks is back on the Billboard 200 at #61 with over 12,000 units, 1000 sales and over 11000 streaming points. Always interesting to see Rumours by Fleetwood Mac steadily have a top 100 position as well. They also have more than 30 million users listening to their songs on Spotify at least once per month, far ahead of our guys. Very impressive!

Quotelem motlow QuoteBritney When did mainstream culture lose it's relevance to Stonesfans? Every time I hear this “Relevance” thing I get a laugh- it reminds me of the old song “ trying to make it real, compared to what? Im inclined to ask who’s judging? Relevance, hmmm strange word.relevant to some jerkoff teenager? Relevant to some clown sitting in front of a keyboard at a magazine.

Great to have KTYL, Don’t stop and Stealing my heart out there again on Spotify etc. Quite unique tunes actually when thinking of the period 1983-2023. More timeless Stones tunes compared to a lot released before and after that.

Quotepftw04 Songs like Jumping Jack clash, a song that attracted me to THE ROLLING STONES and still attracts me was performed lot slower than 2018 or 2019 in 2022. Yes guitars powerful but vocal wise something was missing in 2022. First one is of 2019. Can you compare the vocal performance? Guitar wise both are strong Yes but Mick was saving his voice in Stockholm because of the ill

QuoteStonedRambler Quotepftw04 THE ROLLING STONES last was 2019. In 2022, it was good. But not like 2012 to 2019. Post Charlie's demise, there performance has declined a bit. In 2022, specially Mick Jagger he was not that athletic compared to 2019. Even his vocals were weak. I think a lot here will disagree. I saw them in 2022 and they were much more energetic than 2017. Agreed and also

Quotemaumau no one miss warm horn parts on a rs records? I do. If I had to wish for something for the new record that's it: soulfull horns what an idiot I am... I love horns and consider obv. piano as part of rock - especially with RS. Had not even considered how little of that we have heard in the last 35 years. Its part of the groove.

QuoteVoodooLounge13 Now see I have a completely opposite view of B&L and think it sounds forced and far too compressed. It sounds like a bunch of old guys trying to play the blues. It doesn’t feel loose at all to me. But hey to each their own. Most in here love it. I rarely ever listen to it. For me they’re far looser on all the b-sides Mick cranks out in 5 minutes. But I do definitely ag

2022 was far superior. Even if Ronnie was a bit weaker with all he’s been through Keith in the other hand had his best tour in… well a long time. Actually my friends who usually come to one concert per tour said the same. The large mistakes we have gotten used to where in part gone.

QuoteGerardHennessy Quotetiffanyblu I just hope for a more varied sound on the new album. For me (altough the albums are good) very much of the SW and forward material have been a bit monotone when it comes to text, guitars and drums. Good point, although in fairness they tried to freshen things up significantly, or at least Mick did, on Bridges to Babylon. An album incidentally I like very muc
