QuoteMAF Quotemicha063 I saw 26 Stones shows since 82 and only the J Geils Band was real fun as support act. Aaaah - you missed AC/DC and the Pretenders. Right! I was wrong! I saw AC/DC in Oberhausen as support act and they jamed with the Stones. That was fantastic!

Well, I remember in 1982 the Tickets for about 12 shows in Germany were sold quickly. Time waits for no one. Let's celebrate our heros.

QuoteHalup QuoteDan QuoteVoodooLounge13 I don’t see the fan vote song rehearsed at all?? Beast Of Burden Hey Dan. The reason he stated that is that yesterday the vote for Madrid was put up and the choices were Wild Horses, Angie, Ruby Tuesday and Fool To Cry. I did a screen capture of it. I’ve never seen this before where they change a list after it’s already been posted and receiving vot

So, finaly I will go to Munich. I just bought the train tickets and the concert ticket is on its way. My wife is wonderfull. She stays with our kids and doesn't get angry about the money, though we don't have much. My boss even gives an extra free day. And an old friend has a place to sleep for me. Since 1982 I went to every tour and 25 shows. Not to be able to go would have been sa

QuoteTopi QuoteBowieStone Never were tickets this expensive in Europe. So if you pay €150 for the cheapest seats you’ll not only hear the sound of a bunker but you’ll have to watch a screen the size of a gameboy. I think that at least in Germany the tickets are actually a bit cheaper this time around, compared to 2017 and 2018? Yes. 110 for a standing place.

OMG! This is ugly! The No Filter stage design was ultimate and this is five steps back. The No Filter stage as one whole screen was a very smart solution. It was possible to change the "design" constantly. And now its an ugly design and the screens are small again.

Very sad. One of the best and most important bands. They influenced many people and bands. Their sound was new and exciting. For me, the best band of the eighties.

Already page 65. It surely is one of their top live releases and it shows how strong they were in the late 70s. I am glad, that I can listen to one whole Mocambo gig. I was 14 when LYL was released and I loved it from the beginning. I still have my very girst vinyl of it. What a band!

Quoterollmops That second show at El Mocambo is the last time Billy Preston played live with the Rolling Stones. Great performance by Billy. Rockandroll, Mops Yes, it was his last show with the Stones. He inspired their music and was a great piano player and singer. Some weeks ago I saw a clip with him playing piano and singin for some older black ladies. Impressing artist.

Quotebakersfield There aren't many times in your life when something you always dreamed of turns out to be even better than you hoped. El Mocambo is certainly one of them. Im sitting here listening with a great big stoopid smile on my face )) Yes! I was 14 when LYL was released and I loved it. The El Mocambo side was my favorite part of it. And now I'm 59 and smiling.

QuoteStoneage I think the late seventies was the last time the Stones really mattered. Producing new albums every other year and bringing them onstage. In many ways the 1981/82 tour was the farewell to that. Yes, I agree. 1981 / 1982 was their last Rock'n Roll tour. Everything after this was different, more pollished or "Las Vegas". But this does not mean, they should have dtopped
