My wish, a Dylan's cover album by Ronnie
This would be awesome. I wonder if Ronnie would do the expected thing and cover Dylan's early career or mix it up and gives us tunes from all through it. Forum: Tell Me

Are those Sinatra and Great American Songbook covers albums worth checking out?
I'm far from a Dylan completist, but they sound intriguing. Just haven't gotten around to them.
I think they are. Even if it's not your type of music it's interesting to hear him tackle these songs and he hits some notes I never thought possible. Forum: Tell Me
I wouldn't put too much creedence into it. I found his Dylan books alright, but almost could not finish his Van Morrison book for many of the same reasons you stated. Continual attacking of other authors, general snobbishness, etc. Forum: Tell Me
The more classic live the better. I couldn't afford the super deluxe but did get both the 6-cd and 2-cd for myself and a few of the 2-cd for Christmas presents.

I'm not exactly sure. I thought there was an earlier release before the Mickboy one.
Either way, I've been trying to get this set forever (not download it but have a physical copy). Forum: Buy/Sell/Trade
Sucks that Wooden Records stopped right when Ronnie's marriage ended. I heard there was a Live from Madison Square Garden Barbarians show ready to be released. Plus a box set with a few unreleased albums from 1987 and 1996. Forum: Tell Me
I've heard all of these and if you're a Dylan head like myself they're all worth getting. If you're not a really big fan they're not essential but still worth a listen. Forum: Tell Me

I just got this a couple of days ago and I'm really diggin' this boxset! Love it! I need to get the other two boxsets. Does anyone here have these boxsets? What are your thoughts?
I have them, & they're all amazing! All we need now is a Mercury years boxset.
I have the other two as well and all are truly great. They're not merely compi Forum: Tell Me
A little off topic but...about five years ago it was announced (don't remember where) that Tom's 70s albums were going to be reissued with bonus tracks. It obviously never happened, but maybe some of the other Tom fans on here know why. While I prefer 83-on Tom, I'd still love to hear any unreleased stuff. Forum: Tell Me
True, but Iggy could still pull it together to get an album out every few years. Amy made one good and one great one, we're still waiting for another (hopefully) great one from her. Forum: Tell Me
Great stuff, I prefer the 1979 New Barbarians. It was very annoying when Live At MSG 1979 was announced as well. Then Ron's marriage fell apart as did his company, and nothing heard of it since. Forum: Tell Me
From what Chuck said in 1990 or so it was supposed to be a double album. There's still some hope though, in the recent and great interview in Rolling Stone he was playing new songs for the interviewer. Forum: Tell Me
Sad goodbye to a true original. It's rumored the Zappa Family Trust are going to be releasing the original version of Bat Chain Puller next year. A fitting tribute to one of the greats. Forum: Tell Me
I didn't see any producer credit on the album other than the cheeky Mo Krapp line. I assume Ronnie co-produced the whole set like usual? Forum: Tell Me
Wooden Records was gonna put out a live Barbarians set from New York some time a few years ago. Then Ronnie and his wife split up and it never happened. Shame. Forum: Tell Me
