That drummer in the Chicago Music Exchange video is no Charlie Watts... Good to see Keith enjoying the moment and talking in depth. Very cool. Reposting the Gibson Ltd video link embedded. video:

Thank you for not only sharing your recording but also your comments on the moment, the commitment to get the location (a feat), getting your rig into the venue, dealing with the crowd, and making the recording happen. Great capture!

It's good to have an official release of this song! It needs to be taken in context. For example, in the late 90s on UK Radio 1, you would not often hear the Stones, especially during peak hours. There was a program called the Essential Mix. We'd often have friends around, listen to this show and party in the kitchen, and when Fatboy Slim was the guest DJ, he would do his thing

RisingStone, Thank you for the info. I remember reading at the time that this was a miracle, with all these tracks from all periods, sources, and producers coming together in one place. I'm thinking about buying - I'll leave comments if I do. Very valuable information Thank you. Soundboard

Armani - wow - he was just in NYC in December and all over town. Rest in Peace GIORGIO ARMANI I remember one of his genius moves was to make his soft tailored menswear for women. He blew away the others and then this lady wore it at the 1990 Golden Globes...

Quoteexilestones Quotesoundboard This tour cooked! Sure wish we had a higher quality copy of London Palladium '67. "It's All Over Now" for the London Palladium show was recorded in the studio. Great info - thanks exilestones. Do you happen to know if it was the backing track or with vocals?

QuoteCaptainCorella Quotesoundboard Sure wish we had a higher quality copy of London Palladium '67. Strange as it may (will!) seem, it's hard to overstate the enormous FUSS after the Palladium performance when the band refused to partake in the standard Grand Finale which required them to get onto a rotating stage and wave at the audience. For (January) 1967 is was as big a socia

I'm not sure where to post this, so I've created a new topic. Apologies if this is off track or if I've missed an existing thread. In Studio with Jeff Beck Group and Mickie Most - Plynth: With Rod & the Faces 1974 in Australia (I t

QuoteIrix QuoteProfessorWolf maybe my impression overall is wrong but they do seem as a group to be more open to older music then i would have ever thought That's interesting. Play them the album ‘The Rolling Stones’ (UK, 1964) and then let them decide whether they would spend their $25 on this album or rather on the next album by Taylor Swift (respectively a present-day musician).
