QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotefrankotero I wouldn't mind hearing Get Yer-Ya-Ya's Out full concert in the same quality as those bonus tracks on the re-issue. That would bake my cake! It's been a while since I listened to the anniversary release. Are you saying that the bonus tracks were the only tracks that were mixed on that release? They sound better than the

Dear Bjornulf, Thank you for the work you've done and the life you've led. IORR has been a part a centerpiece of my world since the mid 80's. I used to go to Tower Records in Sacramento to get the magazine and spent one of the most exciting nights of my life standing next to you in London, waiting to get tickets to the Brixton Academy show. I've been a daily reader on the web

Quotedrewmaster QuoteMKjan The US figures are not very surprising despite B&L sales and a great concert history. We live in the United Mistakes of Amnesia, and that's a shame. I don't think the title helps. Most Americans (myself included) haven't heard of Hackney. Not to mention Fulham. Drew Agreed. Smash n Grab would've been so much better, IMO. Very in the news

QuoteThe Joker Cherry Oh Baby is not a Stones song... Eric Donaldson. May say the topic here is to talk about The Stones playing live unrelased songs they wrote... How it was fresh, and different from now... I said from the first I might forget one or two songs... Apologies, I misunderstood.

Love this kind of musical treasure map search! I had a bit of difficulty with Dreamy Skies because of the Short and Curlies echoes. Really like the tune overall though, and it has become less distracting the more I listen to it.

Very sad. I looked forward to, and enjoyed his posts as well as his recommendations. I'm stunned that he won't be here in the future and had really missed him over the last month or so. His absence was noticeable almost immediately. RIP Hairball

This IMO, is one of the most incredible examples of, well, I'm not sure what. It's not Mandela effect, because the pics are right there. Almost like a conspiracy of people being paid to testify that, "Keep moving, there's nothing to see here." The tongue isn't "inspired by" or "similar to" or any of that; it's as if Pasche took a pencil and

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 QuoteDaveG Anybody know which show this if from? It's odd. There is that bit of feedback right at "I got the wiggles in my knees" like on Ya-Ya's. And they sound so well lubed up, that it has to be the East Coast. But the way Jagger's mic stand is bopping, that looks like a low rent kind of stage. Maybe not the Garden. I thought it was fro

QuoteHairball Right after I heard of Charlie passing away two years ago, I cranked this tune up to 10 and will do so on every anniversary of that very sad day. While I shed a tear of sorrow on that day, now I shed tears of joy whenever I hear this tune while thinking of all the enjoyment Charlie brought to this world. Yes there's plenty of other great examples of Charlies drumming, and ind

QuoteGhostTown2021 QuoteDandelionPowderman They need the multitracks to do a remix. I doubt they have them. OK, maybe I missed something. But I think I can say without a doubt, that the Rolling Stones indeed DO have the multitracks! Dandelion is referring to the existence of multitracks for the L & G movie, which seems doubtful indeed as the official release has very sub-par sound.
