QuoteMizzAmandaJonez Nice to see Ronnie rehearsing, would be cool if they played “Stay with me” … if Joe can play Funk49 with his “new” band, why not? Totally agree! The Rolling Stones have covered many many songs during their touring years. Why not allow Ronnie to play one of the great riffs in rock history? The conventional wisdom - it’s not a Stones’ song is silly. Again - they play covers a

I visited that famous doorway day before yesterday. What a great vibe. I was sorry the recently opened "Waiting on a Friend" bar had closed.

For me - they cannot play too much of the new album. It can be the Some Girl’s tour all over again.

I am pissed they didn’t debut at #1. The album deserved better than #3.

QuoteGazza Best ballad theyve done since 'Memory Motel'. Only 'Almost Hear You Sigh' runs it close. Up there with 'Sweet Sounds', 'Driving Me Too Hard' and 'Bite My Head Off' as one of the four bonafide classics on the album. Maybe 'Angry' is as well. The only thing missing is the barking dog from the 'leaked' version.

QuoteJuniorjackflash Quite a cool review of the song by Justin Hawkins (lead singer of The Darkness). He has a great ear for finding the note/key so quickly and was cool to see him genuinely loving the song. Below for those who are interested! video: Totally agree: A very entertaining video!

I was fortunate to see Van Halen open for the Stones in New Orleans in 1978 and the above Orlando show in 81. VH were fairly unknown in July of 78 - but by 81 they were huge. Have the Stones ever had a bigger and hotter band open for them?

All I want is ONE more show. And I’ve been saying that since 1978. When Nancy and I left Hyde Park #2 last year, I knew it could be the last one. It just never gets old.

I am spending this week in Philly. Just left the Philadelphia Art Museum where I bumped into Ronnie Wood in 2013. Taylor just blew the audience away the night before during CYHMK and Rambler.

I was at Hyde Park 2 - loved it of course! But Keith didn't seem exactly right. Sympathy seemed a real mess from a guitar point of view. I love Get Off of My Cloud - but SFM is a far superior opener.

QuoteRisingStone Let me repeat here what I put elsewhere on the forum — in a way it can be a benefit or a relief for us, those who are only attending the Hyde Park shows as we may end up not missing much. Even BST’s default festival stage — the trees, the leaves and such — may be more favorable than this, perhaps I totally agree! Looking forward to Hyde Park #2. A few days in London is alway
