QuoteIrix Quotekovach Somebody that went to see The Struts there said the band made some mention of coming back and opening for a major show over the summer. But they have their own tour - . Looks like their European tour ends in late June and the US tour doesn't start until late July so maybe there's a possibility.

He seems to be a quite unhappy fellow. He's made it clear he never wanted to be a rock star, he wanted to be an artist, doing concerts is just a job and not one he particularly enjoys. I do like his music, and have seen him a few times, but it is hard to like a guy who seems to be just doing it for a paycheck.

Phasers were all the rage in the mid/late 70's but seemed to fade shortly thereafter. Zeppelin used them quite extensively as well on their later albums.

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteDGA35 I believe they came to Vancouver around 2018ish. I didn't realize they were still around! In fairness, its Jeff thats still around, but he was essentially the band so its kinda on his timetable. There was a pretty solid band that existed in the 70s which I don't discount, but Jeff obviously wrote all the songs and it was his vision. I've seen Jeff Lynn

QuoteBig Al If you want a very-reasonably priced electric, you cannot go too far wrong with the Squire 'Classic Vibe' line: essentially, budget-reissues of the great 60's and 70's Fenders. I have a '60's Custom Esquire' from this line. Admittedly, I don't play it very much - I prefer my acoustic for casual noodling -, but it looks lovely on it's stand.

Quotewendysorensen I would recommend on the drive up if your a history person the Montezuma Castle National Monument. And if you are into architecture, in Sedona don't miss The Chapel of the Holy Cross, it's an amazing piece of art. Both are easy walking. Sedona is an absolute must, drive through at least and make some stops at the scenic overlooks.

QuoteTumblinDice76 Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't something similar happen with a '72 show? Phillips perhaps? It was either completed or close to but got scrapped for either the BTB tour release or another one around that time frame. Just wondering if ownership rights is what keeps more from '72 being released other than the TX shows. For me, keep the live shows coming an

Quoteshadooby The Marc Ford era was the best. Much like the Taylor era for the Stones. Glad I got to see them in 90 and 96. Most excellent shows. If you buy the CD, it only comes with half the songs, you have to download the other half. At least that was the case when it came out. But I think it's their best work.

QuoteJimmyTheSaint Should be rechristened the “Popular Music Hall of Fame”. They have insisted on several inductions a year and have pretty much run out of worthy acts. Mariah Carey??? That ain’t Rock n roll. R&R isn’t what it used to be and it’s unlikely it ever will be again. The kids today don’t get it. Agree completely.
