I hope it's not a disappointment. I've watched the original so many times now, the Criterion DVD with all the deleted scenes is awesome. The autograph session where Paul Schaffer tells them to kick his ass because nobody shows up! In the outtakes, a fan does show up and they sign the Smell The Glove album but since it's a black album and they use a black sharpie, he can't s

QuoteCaptainCorella I believe that's from 11th Sept 1966 Ed Sullivan. It seems to have had the original soundtrack (qv) replaced with an album track. Originally there was quite a lot of audience screaming at the start. (Of course, the audience screaming version could be the one that was modified, and this one is the 'original')! (Edited to correct date typo). You can f

Quotebabyblue Quotecrholmstrom Quotemosthigh I would have loved seeing Living Colour in 1989 Saw them open in Montreal. The sound was so bad, it was just a cacophony of echo. Watched them, but certainly didn't hear them. The Stones sounded fine, of course. I went to both shows in Vancouver & had the opportunity to talk to Vernon Reid after the first one. I know the Stones played the Club A Gogo a couple times when they were first starting out. I think it was Newcastle's answer to the Marquee Club. The Animals were the house band there for a while. I believe it's been demolished now.

There are many "classic rock" bands that are still touring with only one or two original members. The vast majority of the crowd wouldn't know the difference. Foreigner is doing their farewell tour and there's no original band members! I saw the Black Crowes a couple years ago and apart from the Robinsons, I have no idea if any of the others were original members. Same as
