Wonder if anyone can help me with this - I've got Pelouse VIP tickets. Some say Porte H, the others say Porte R. I presume that means we're going to be split up as there will be a runway through the pit. None of the seating charts show the runway but there will be one.

You're right 24FPS! But I'm sure they then used it on some of the Bridges dates subsequent to that - I'm sure I saw it at Wembley. One of the best concert intros ever!

Can anyone point me in the right direction - I'm trying to find the video clip the band used before they walked on stage on some dates during the Bridges tour? It was black and white and showed them walking down a corridor from their dressing rooms. Cheers, Tony.

You're not wrong Paul - prices are crazy. If by some miracle any extras come my way I'll give you a shout. Best wishes, Tony.

Don't know if this has been covered but if you want your ticket back after being in the pit take the exit to the left as you face the stage - that's what we did and someone was handing them out. I got given one that had a row of X's on it instead of the price booking fees etc - obviously a lucky person's freebie!

A friend who's a journalist sent me this press release - great story about Keith! News Release HMS Victory Rocks! Keith Richards is more used to being snapped on the stage of international arenas and stadiums, but he kindly took time out to pose for a photo on the gangway of HMS Victory as he visited Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with his family yesterday (27th July). Like The Stones and their publicity machine have never used any of these tabloid papers for their own commercial benefit. See today's Daily Mail Weekend magazine. Ronnie on the front page and a huge interview under the banner "I Love Being Sober."

Quoteerikjjf Quotetonym Best ever opening!!! I'm sure I saw it on some European dates? Anyone remind me if it was used in Europe? It was used in Europe 1999 as well. Yeah your right erik - I remember now! Got a feeling they only used it SOME dates though. Sure I saw some shows on that tour where they didn't use it. Anyone know the answer?!

Not sure if this has been posted yet but Ronnie will be in London today...I was lucky enough to go to the last London signing. Ronnie up-front and personal Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood will be signing copies of his new book 'Ronnie: The Autobiography' on Wednesday 21st November at 3:30pm at the No.1 Piccadilly Virgin Megastore. Ronnie Wood is one of rock's true orig

I had a brief chat with Ronnie about Stones gigs in Germany last summer and he asked if I'd enjoyed them but when I told him I'd been to his Theatre Royal gig in 2005 his eyes lit up and he was really keen to talk about it. He said it had been a great night which he really enjoyed but he mentioned there were no decent recording of it. He said the ones that exist and had very low sound l

This from today's Isle of Wight County Press. Giddings was, of course, instrumental in getting the Stones to play. `TICKET TOUTS` JIBE AT FESTIVAL BOSSES By Lorraine Parker - Friday, March 30, 2007 IW FESTIVAL organisers have been blasted as greedy touts after selling off 100 extra tickets to the highest bidders in an auction through Ticketmaster. But IW Festival organiser John Giddi

An interesting story which appeared in today's Isle of Wight County Press FORGOTTEN STONE HOPES FOR REUNION By Clare Wall - Friday, March 30, 2007 WHEN the Rolling Stones take to the stage at the IW Festival this year, one Island man will be watching, knowing he formed an integral part of the band’s birth. Dick Taylor, 64, of Ventnor, went to Dartford Grammar School with Mick Jagger

This forum is full of the band's most loyal fans. Most of us are pretty adept at getting ticekts for all sorts of Stones gigs in the UK - I was at Brixton, Shep Bush the Astoria and numerous other stadium and arena gigs - but I have never encountered anything like the 02 situation. Seems we weren't even on a level playing field with just one or two people getting A block tickets with le

I ended up taking block 112 for the second show using a platinum membership. The tickets on that sale appeared to be better than the O2 ones so I think they must have come from a different pool of tickets. John Giddings at Solo (the man behind the Isle of Wight Festival) is a great believer in the auctioning off of front block seats hence his involvement in that happening at Twickenham for Genesi

I settled on an aisle seat in block 112 for the Thursday in the 11.am presale. I've kept my legacy code for what it's worth - not much looking at today. Tell me where did all those block As and Bs go?
