.... Actually, further excavation in the music room reveals "off the tracks vol. 1" and "vol. 2," as well. So, any information that anyone can share on the sources of the music would be much appreciated. Karl

Hi, all. I have what I think was a fan-sourced cdr entitled "off the tracks vol. 3" and a notation of 'VL 15' - - which seems to be a collection of alternate takes or early versions of songs. The rear cover art lists 19 songs, 1. being Connection and 19. being We Love You, but no sources are listed. Does anybody recognize the title and have information on where its so

I am reading the book now, and was up in NYC for four days last week. Stayed at the Warwick. This, then, in the chapter covering 1965 amused me: "When the Stones arrived in New York on October 27 for their fourth American tour, they were greeted by a gigantic billboard in Times Square paid for by Klein promoting December’s Children (And Everybody’s). The band stayed at the City

Hi all. I have several shows on DVD that I would like to add to my iTunes library. What is the best program to get to convert DVD audio to MP3/iTunes, in tunes of both ease of use and performance? Thanks.

Hi. Casino Boogie/CB, who was the heart and soul of Sister Morphine, unfortunately had a decline in the 2010/2011 timeframe and died on February 20, 2012.

Hi, all. I trust everyone is able to enjoy a bit of vacation and peace and quiet. I am enjoying mine! I am using a bit of the extra time to organize/digitize some of the collection, and have found some gaps and issues in a few CD-r's. Does anyone have a complete/extensive collection of the Mickboy re-masters that could burn a few CDRs for me? I am particularly need to replace

If the Stones had done the smart thing and released the 'official boots' on CD for those who are not into downloads, this guy would have no market. As it is, the demand is there and someone is simply making a supply available. Hopefully if the Stones see people still want CDs, they will supply the 'official bootlegs' on CD rather than the 'virtual' approach the

It seems to me that the early Rolling Stones covered this song, but I cannnot remember where/when. Did the Stones play/record 'Little Red Riding Hood'? Thanks.

In recent years I have enjoyed `Emotional Rescue' and `Undercover' more and more. The ER songs may not be classics, with "She's So Cold" being the only good 'Stones song' on the album, IMHO, although I was happy to hear "Let Me go," "Dance," and "All About You"done live over the years. Mick's falsetto does bother me a

I agree! "One Hit" in my book is one of their 'recent' best and would be a great concert opener....as well as a great theme for the beginning of some TV show or action movie. Glad that I have some live recordings of it from '89, but it's a shame it didn't become a real hit.

Hi, Bob. Thanks for the response! But, no, I do not yet have these on CDR. If you have the time, etc. to burn them onto disc, for me, it'd be great! As noted, looking forward to working with you on the details and processing. Much appreciated, Karl

Not sure I see/hear the SMU connection. When I first heard 'Don't Stop,' something about it very much reminded me of some other Stones song. After a few weeks of thinking about it, I realized what was catching my attention was that for some reason it made me think of 'Lonely at the Top,' particularly the vocal bridge part about 2/3s of the way through the song.

A good bit ago there was a discussion here on which titles/sources you could use to compile the best versions of most of the songs played by the Stones at the El Mocambo shows. As I recall, there were about three titles that covered most of the songs. I have tried searching with various subject combinations, but cannot find the threads that I think I remember. Can anyone point me in th
