QuoteNikkei I can't imagine a better modern day version than this one from 2014. The one from Stripped must also be one of the best ever I gotta take my hat off to you for that one, absolutely brilliant Keith, i forgot how good he was in 2014, Hyde Park was a great version of SFM too the year before.

QuoteDoxa I also think that this idea if Keith makes mistakes, being uneven or even screwing things up, that it must be him taking some substances, is based on the old myth of him being immortal, a sort of Superman. No natural reasons affecting a normal old person do qualify to legendary Keef. So, there must be some other, extrensic reasons for that. For some odd reason the idea of him drinking,

QuoteDoxa QuoteRocktiludrop QuoteDoxa Jeez, how much speculation... - Doxa Don't forget the drama too John What is the Stones without a drama? This thread is a manifestation of that. When Keith manages to hit a right note or playing somehow accordingly to the song, he is hailed 'playing better' than 'name the year', doing a wonderful job or something, but when

QuoteRokyfan Quoterbk “How to Record and Film A Kick Ass Live Album & Blue Ray in ONE Two Hour Take.” The Rolling Stones presented a Master Class in the subject last night. Kick ass live album? With all the guitar parts overdubbed maybe. The guitar playing last night was either missing or horrible with a few exceptions... Many guitar parts from the original tracks are played live by ke

QuoteKeithNacho It is weird that Jagger tolerate this lack of responsability. There must be other causes gor this It's been this way since the late 60s as if Mick can control Keith, it's obvious how happy the whole band are when Keith's straight, clean and serene, but how can Mick know mid tour what Keith will do, what can he do when it happens, it's too late to do anything

It's so weird, i say he's drinking and posters attack me, others say he's drunk and its ok. I even stated and indicated the exact moment he started drinking on this tour . I've read all the BS from posters hinting he has senile dementia , they don't have the know how to understand you don't have dementia all of a sudden after 7 shows of not having dementia, and t

QuoteNikkei It's notable how most reviews these days largely focus on the specifics of getting in and out of the venue Haha so very true And also the press and critics judge the concert by how well Micks clapping and waving, hilarious.

I think a lot depends on Ronnie, he's already amazing doctors I'd imagine, but if the Ronnie articles were correct about the type of cancer he has he's most likely planning three months ahead at a time between scans, i should know as I've lost two friends to small cell lung cancer, next years tour will depend on Ronnie bless him .

Quotemaumau QuoteHairball Hoping Keith is rested up well and focused for tonight - the grand finale and last hurrah of the US No Filter Tour. This could be the last time as they always say, and it would be nice to see a coherent Keith on top of his game. +1 add my wishes and respect and gratefulness Yeah i hope it ends on a high note, you never know at this stage, i was thinking it would be

Quotelem motlow They sent me an email saying to put your parking space letter in your waze app and it would give you directions. Of course I put in “H” the $200 parking even though I had a $30 pass, sure enough it took us down a back road to a side entrance and at 6 o’clock I was pulling up next to gate 1. I went a step further and parked in lot H thinking they would make me leave but they neve

Reading through all this today three things come to mind and I'm going to get in trouble for speaking the truth the way i see it. 1/ Keith is brilliant sober, he pulls it off drunk, the band do work around him when he's drinking but it's just on a few occasions over the whole tour. 2/ I don't think he wants to play Miss you or Sympathy, he makes a mess of Sympathy on pur

QuoteDoxa QuoteRocktiludrop Well i see what you mean when you put it like that Doxa, perhaps I'm expecting too much from him, as you say he has delivered a show, it can't be easy for any of them at their ages away from home for so long, there are moments too when Mick looks tired, they all deserve a long rest. No one needs any rest (or maybe you?). They are fine. Stop the speculative

QuoteBjorn As I said earlier: I don´t like it. He didn´t play one intro right tonight. Gimme Shelter, It´s only r&r - you name it. And the "solos" - help!!! He´s a clown but I don´t laugh. Lots of bad energy on stage. And as usual Keith tries to look Daryl and Ron in the eyes: "look - how well I played THAT note! I´m sooo cooool!" No, just pathetic. But they don´t have the

QuoteJustin Quotejumpingjackflash5 QuoteJustin Take away the lead work on Sympathy and Satisfaction and that would fix most of the issues. Those moments are screwing up the vibe in the room. And it looks to me like Keith himself would prefer not to take those solos anymore. He seems happiest playing rhythm. JJF, STU, MR all were perfectly fine last night. But he did these solos fine on many

Im not comfortable saying because people don't like straight talkers but its obvious why Steve looked serious, probably worried for his friend, anyone who loves him would be, just hope Keith's got close famil

Quotestargroover Keef on Fxxxing fire in Texas, still at the top of his game! That's great to hear, he wobbled for a few shows but clearly he's back in business, I don't think his guitar has ever had a more menacing nerve chilling tone than what i just heard on Rambler, the way he's prowling the stage too like a hungry Panther, just love it, the coolest old man in the planet

Ronnie and Keith completely nailing Rambler with Steve now, it's just magic when those two weave like this, yeah this band still has a future for many years on the strength of this, i even prefer Mick now, he's moving slower but singing so much better than before, he's not wasting energy it's all going into the v
