Quoterollingrichard "Don't stop" sounds like from a band which you get on a bad weddingparty. And "Miss you" is very very overrated, in my opinion. Especially live ! @rollingrichard I gotta agree with you about "Miss You", pretty good song overall, but way, way overplayed/overrated. The best part is the bass line. I find this to be true for a lot of the big

Can anyone identify this song? The video is from Montreux Rehearsals '72, but the audio doesn't correspond to it. It isn't: Tumbling Dice, Shake Your Hips, Bluesberry Jam, John's Jam (Jam #2). It sounds vaguely familiar. RS - "Obscure Jam" Thanks.

I had a few Dead Head friends back in the late 80's/early 90's. RIP Jerry. I never really got into the Dead, but did experience 1 live show, 1990 NC. I like 12 of their songs, with Mexicali Blues being the best by far. There are a few more that are okay, but not good enough to DL/Top 12. If I wanna hear a jam band go off on psychedelic/progressive rock (or any) long tangents, Y

1st time: age 18, summer of 1989, Raleigh, NC (saw the The Who & The Stones in the same summer, both for the 1st time) Last time: 1994, Raleigh NC, I worked Security for the show, even got backstage, but the band was on stage at the time. By '89 it was obvious that Mick's voice wasn't what it was compared to even the early 80's (their last tour at the time). Even n

Quotefrenki09 Thanks for the replies, ab and dennycranium! Are there a lot of outtakes there weren't included on the RTR set? The Real Alternate Album consists of only two CDs. A comment from discogs.com about the RTR release: "With literally tons of outtakes from these sessions you would think this set would be the last word on this 1986 LP...and you'd be wrong. A Pig's Tale: The Underground Story of the Legendary Bootleg Record Label, Trade Mark of Quality "In that hot summer of ’69 two longhaired music freaks created an underground LP record album of unreleased tracks by one of their music gods and put it out on the streets of Los Angeles. I was probably 4.5 yrs old. because I was aware of the Beatles too. I believe Satisfaction was what I heard 1st iirc. I bought most of my vinyl b/w 80-84, I was aged 9-13 buying LPs. Then Vinyl was phased out & virtually replaced. I had cassettes before the vinyl though. I do remember buying Big Hits (High Tide & Green Grass). Though I wish I'd had the fish-eye lens cover
