QuoteKRiffhard I want a song called "Brown Sugar" I recommend picking up the Tattoo You Super Deluxe edition or the Copacabana Beach release from earlier this year then. Both include Brown Sugar, just like I’m sure it will be included in future deluxe/from the vault releases that include live shows.

I’d like to see the Stones do something similar to what Tom Waits did with his outtakes and release an Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards-style album. They could break the album up in sections by 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s outtakes, finish them up and release them in one big album. I guess it would basically be a true “Tattoo Two”, but expanded over their entire post-60’s catalog inst

The snippets don’t do the full length songs justice. I thought they did a great job with the bonus tracks. Some will say that they don’t mesh with the original album, but I don’t think they’re supposed to. They’re a 2021 version of Tattoo You. Just like Chris Kimsey made the songs all sound from the same era in the original album, the band has made all of the bonus songs sound like they were f

Has anyone heard the “lossless” version of tattoo you on Apple Music? It’s the first time I can actually hear the acoustic guitars on the released song. I’m sure with the remastering and “Dolby Atmos” for the forthcoming reissue, it’ll be even more audible.

I was hoping that with Steve Jordan in the mix, Keith would add Too Rude into his set since they have played it live together. But with the live version clocking in over seven minutes, I’m sure it would have been too long of a break for Mick.

This was my sixth Stones show since 2013 and my first PIT experience. The excitement of seeing the band up so close helped me deal with Charlie not being there. The band sounded great, and stand out songs for me were SFM, 19th Nervous Breakdown, but really every song was great. I’m not an audiophile, so I don’t really pay attention to the subtle differences between Charlie and Steve. Sure,

It’s always jarring to hear a finished version of an outtake. I don’t mean that in a negative way, I mean that you get so used to hearing one version of an outtake, that the finished version takes a couple listens for me to get used to. I love what they did with this song. They really punched it up and made it more exciting than the original outtake. It makes me want to clap along to it, lol.

I really like what I heard, but this song is going to get torn apart by the usual people on this board, lol. Between the 2021 Mick vocals, extra guitars, and the extra verse he wrote that is a little topical, there will be endless complaints in the coming days.

I feel like Shine a Light is Brian’s song. My personal “Charlie song” would be Waiting on the Friend just because of story behind Charlie recommending they get Sonny Rollins to play sax, not thinking he would, and then being surprised when Rollins agreed to play.

Things have been pretty quiet with the band when it comes to promoting Charlotte. Maybe they want to make sure everyone has a negative COVID test before promoting the next stop? I guess we’ll get the song vote tomorrow and then Charlotte merch info tomorrow or day of show?

It’s kind of funny to see people on various threads triggered over BS not being played for one show. Please explain how “the woke movement” is responsible for BS not being played last night? Other than an article in the Chicago Times before the 2019 tour, I can’t remember any real organized calls for the band the stop playing the song. Like others have said, for all we know, they’re playing th

IIOR was weaved in and out of setlists in 2019, so maybe Brown Sugar was the song chosen for this tour? I don’t think they removed it for PC reasons, because they’re still played Under My Thumb, which some consider an un-PC song. Either way, if you want the band to play more of the other songs from their catalogue, then some of the war horses have to go.

I think the band will sound great to the large majority of concert goers attending the shows. The small, vocal minority on this site who hate what they hear can continue to pontificate on how The Rolling Stones’ 60 year legacy is now tarnished because they continue on. In the end, their opinion doesn’t really matter as much as they think it does. The band’s legacy was cemented a long time ago,

I can understand that people don’t like to see The Rolling Stones perform for a scumbag like RK, but the reality is that the band offers private performances to anyone willing to pay the price and he chooses to pay the price. The American Trucking Association paid the Stones to perform a number of years ago too. When I worked for an association, I pitched them too, but they were way out of ou

Even though it’s poor cell phone quality, I like what I heard and am looking forward to the tour. Do I prefer Charlie? Yes, of course. Would I go to see the Stones knowing they would be without Charlie? No, but I bought my ticket before he bowed out, so I really don’t have a choice now, unless I want to sell my ticket for below asking price, which I’m not willing to do. So, I’m going go out

Unfortunately, it seems like there’s a portion of the fan base who wants to hold the remaining band members’ accountable for something Keith said when talking about a friend who faced a life-threatening illness. “Keith said, ‘no Charlie, no Stones,’ so they need to break up right now!” pretty much sums up what those fans have been saying. Think about that. These guys have just lost a brother a

I see this tour becoming a tribute to Charlie, similar to how the 1969 Hyde Park show ended up becoming a tribute to Brian. After this tour, who knows what will happen.

Quotegotdablouse QuoteCamRS It looks like Come to the Ball is the only song we don’t know anything about. If I had to guess, I could see it being an updated version of Dancing Girls/Brown Leaves with brand new vocals. The whole “dancing” theme in parts of the lyrics could line up thematically to the title. It kind of like how the Stones took the “all the rage” line from the You Should Have See
