The Stooges "Fun house". Down on the street and Dirt are two fantastic songs.

I love his playing the Dylan album Infidels and "Real live". Infidels has some nice leads and fun interplay with Mark Knopfler and on real live his lead work is great.

Voodoo Lounge for #1 me. 2nd would be Steel Wheels and 3rd place Hackney. I think all 3 are solid albums.

The song "I like to rock" is one of my favorites. I especially like the end of the song when they combine Satisfaction and day tripper along with the main riff of the song. I was in a band that when we played Satisfaction we would do the same thing at the end. Combining all 3 riffs. Always went over well.

Cant wait for this one! I went to the 2019 show at Lumen field and it was great. Ronnie had a very good night. I live in Tacoma which is just about 38 miles South of Seattle so I can catch the commuter train and get dropped off right at the stadium. I have a feeling that the band is going to be hot on this tour.

Really like this one. Especially the extended version of "Slave". Keith's guitar work and Charlies drumming are fantastic on it. Besides the extra songs I also enjoy the live set.

Lets see, when Gene and Paul announced the 1st farewell tour in March of 2000 they both said it was about "bowing out " before you could not perform and deliver anymore at the top level. At least they still had Ace at that time before he got tired of everything. I grew up a big Kiss fan and still enjoy listening to them occasionally but live they are not close to what they once were. Great song. Great playing by Keith along with a soulful delivery by Mick.

A very fun album with so much diversity. The rocking numbers like Too tough and It must be hell. The funk-rock of Tie you up/Pain of love and Pretty beat up. The funky almost R & B of Too much blood. The straight ahead CB style of She was hot. Love it.

There is a pic in the "Some kind of Stones connection" thread that shows Keith playing the same guitar with a capo on at the 2nd fret.

I don't understand the whole "Mick solo album" stuff. I totally hear Keith's song writing style in Depending on you, Driving me too hard and Tell me straight. Songs that to me would easily fit on Main offender or Cross-eyed heart. His guitar work (and Ronnie's) is strong and prevalent thru out the album. But if that is your opinion that's cool with me. Just throwing

Everyone will have their own thoughts and feelings on the album and that is the way it should be. I read reviews both positive and negative. Doesn't seem to be much middle ground. Generally either it's praised for being fresh and "sounding" like the Stones or its to polished and poppy with mediocre material. While making dinner last night I had a few beers and really gave it m

The deluxe version of Some Girls. Specifically "Tallahassee Lassie" . That song is a great example of the Stones at their ramshackle and rocking best.

I absolutely love this show/release. Miss You is fantastic. Charlie and Bill really on top of it. I also really like Keith's solo and playing on Star Star.

Brussels '73 is my favorite. Keith's tone is great and his playing and back n forth with Mick T is among their best.

The studio version is good but I think the live versions of the song are my favorite. The one from the '78 live in Texas release just flat out rocks.

While DLR was never a great singer live he was good on the albums and one hell of a front man in his prime. In '77-'78 when the 1st VH album came out in was a game changer.

I love Mick but listen to Tumblin Dice from '72 or even the live in Texas version from '78 then listen to any live version from the 2000's. Big change in both pitch and delivery but still great just different to me.

Angie is fantastic. Beggars Banquet and Exile have some pretty nice acoustic playing on them as well. I have always thought that Keith played great acoustically. Difficulty and or impressive skill can be inspiring but to me aren't what makes a song great. Tone, production, melody and feel do that.

I will have to take a close listen to the London show but for me the Brussels version of Rambler is about as close to perfection as you can get.
