I wonder how this happened, as the Stones toured in the 60s and 70s when they worked with smaller settings than stadium stages. He could not have been hidden behind or under the stage. So where is he? Or did he play only occasionally ??

QUOTE: Look, they did that tour for Charlie. Good. But there is no band called the Rolling Stones any more. There's singer/dancer etc and there are two guitarist. That's not our band. Never was. So, one new album, a few 60th shows, assuming that Keith is up to it, and then call it a day while retaining their dignity and credibility- and our respect and gratitude. THAT

There were the Brian Jones years up to 1969, then we had the Mick Taylor years up to 1974 or so, then we lost Bill Wyman with the band after 1990. Still they have been performing live, and recording new songs for 30 years, and performing to millions. I don't want to start another Charlie Watts discussion here, I just want people to give Steve Jordan a chance. The band want to go on tour,

QuoteDoxa QuoteDandelionPowderman Cheers, man! I haven't listened this version for some time, and bloody hell what a sledge hammer it is! One can hear how inspired they all are, and especially Keith knowing that he has a big gun in his hands now. I sometimes feel that the finished single version, no matter how perfect and wonderfully arranged it is (with that hypnotic groove), somehow

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteRawIguanaCologne Never ever heard or seen before... It´s at 27:00 They made two videos back then. This is the other one. Musically, they're slightly different as well. I´d say a LOT different!!! Very very interesting! Anyone knows more about that? I mean, because the single record wouldn't´t have been the same too - big difference!

Yes Sir, Mr Rockman! I will. I guess I ´ll have to make it a German version, too.... But it´s okay, it starts to feel comfortable.... Man, I don´t know how to describe what the old Google translation robot make out of some Stones setlists! (example: "BEGINNEN SIE MICH OBEN" (Start me up), "Es ist nur Felsenrolle" (have a guess!!!)

I have a question : As this cover version is not commercial in anyway, no release with a barcode etcetera, and also declared by us as what it is (a homage) how do you consider the risks of, let´s say, the versions becomes forbidden or anything? Thanks Seb

Hi folks Watching various footage of all tours (official & non-official) with never ceasing excitement (I mean, no Stones gig is exactly the same as one another - and now the news!) I always wonder how they managed to hide STU all the time on almost every stage size. I mean you can watch him in 1981/82 , along mit Mac, but: 1970? 1972/73? 1975/76? 1978? This makes me extremely cur

QuoteIrix Ticket-prices for the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney could be sky-high then since it'll be one the last times when they'll be on stage. FOS-Ticket for Paul McCartney was already € 1,132.00 for 2020 - . Hey, what gigs were that, was it the USA? I couldn´t believe it was possible to get 2 tickets á 160 € (FOS!!!) at the Macca Open Air in Nijmegen Netherlands. (29th May

I wonder if there will be any big shows (stadiums etc) before everything about vaccines will be totally secure, I don´t think so. But: Apart from thoughts about bands like the Stones (every year these 4 lads are able to tour) I imagine it could be a disastrous rise of ticket prices, specially when gigs can´t happen in front of 40-70 000 people like before.

Anyway, I try to imagine those days in the mid 70s with 2 shows - I know they were in their early 30s and the drugs did work for some of them these days... ...but still it is an exhausting schedule! Even LISTENING to 2 Stones shows (by the likes of 1972, 1973 or 1976) in a row is a roller coaster.

See what happens in 2022 Interesting you mention that...makes me realize that - if the boys only manage to keep on trucking 40 ridiculous years - The Rolling Stones will be able to celebrate their 100th birthday as a band!!!
