Quoteds1984 QuoteHenrikBB The UK-Out Of Our Heads does not exist in True Stereo, - as the material wasn’t recorded in Stereo ! If the song wasn’t originally Stereo recorded, - there is no way it can ever be released in True Stereo. Excuse but I may think there is a confusion between recording and mixing. A mono recording is a "only one track recording" and already at the ti

Quoteexilestones I just got an old Hot Rocks CD and Old Flowers CD for the fake stereo tracks. I downloaded a Milestones but it sounded like shit. I'd love to have great digital transfers of everything Stones. Especially these Teldec albums (MileStones, etc...) I can't take a turntable to the beach or play it in my car. Sorry, I know you're a quality, high-fidelity vinyl gu

To give an impression of why it is not that simple just to make “a list” of “The Rolling Stones in Electronically Re Processed Stereo” - here is a list of their first album, - Selftitled - No. 1 - The Rolling Stones - or whatever we call it. Their First album was never ERPS-released in the UK. It was released in ERPS in : 1968 - Japan, - with 3 later rereleases (that seems identical in

Oh, - these questions are very interesting, - but not all easily answered. So if it’s OK let’s do it step by step. Quoteexilestones What's the difference between "ffrr" and "ffss?" There is no indication of true stereo or electronically reprocessed stereo? Do you know if Out of Our Heads SKL 4733 is true stereo? I cannot find where it says electronically reprocessed stereo. All tracks on UK - Out Of Our Heads, Decca SKL 4733 are in Electronically Re Processed Stereo ! - Non

Yeah ! - it will be a long list ! It will hold almost 90 titles. To have some kind of an overwiev, I have used Ian Mc Phersons terrific site “Time Is On Our Side” - where he numbers the titles. All songs from No. 1 (Come On) till No. 72 (Lady Jane) have been released in Electronically Re Processed Stereo (ERPS) and then several songs have to be added - like Paint It Black, - HYSYMSITH

Quoteexilestones It would be a cool project for someone to collect all of the fake stereo tracks. It's Stones history! Well - it IS a cool project ! I am collecting it all, - and it is One Hell of a challenge . . . At this point I guess it includes around 125 LP’s . . . and dealing with releases from 1964 - 1982/83 - and later - regarding the few CD-releases. I found it interest

Quotejp.M The long version HAD to be on "Now" but I have read somewhere that the confusion came from Chris Shrimpton who confused the two recorded reels... It seems very likely, that the Short Version was used by some kind of mistake, - and that is the reason why Andrew Loog Oldham used the Long Version on Old Abkco - "Now" in 1986, - because that was the way it originally

The arrival of a Mexican copy of UK-No 2, - with True Stereo ENSTL reminded me of this thread. It holds the same version as UK "Rock´n´Rolling Stones" - 5.07 - with the characteristic little "jump" in the very last second. I thought this could be a reason for a little summary of the diffrent releases and productions. ENSTL exist in two versions - 2 different takes. One

QuoteHis Majesty QuoteHenrikBB ? ? ? - Please mention One Official Stereo Release, where PS is in Stereo ! (- beside this strange Yugoslavian release ) Every official version available to buy in shops and online. Maybe you need to listen again? The bass drum is not totally centred, it is placed slightly to the right. The hi-hat sound subtly spreads out with slight emphasis to the left.
