Cool to read all the history of the place, and thanks for the location info. I think I'll try to find it next time I'm in NYC. Hopefully it will be warmer outside then!

Took my kids to see Raffi years ago...crying, screaming, fits in the aisle...and that was just me. I had the shudders for years every time I thought about it.

Yeah, ear plugs are a must. Other than that, you know whether or not your kid can handle it. But the real question is will YOU enjoy it as much with your son there? I would be distracted and not able to relax if I brought one of my kids along when they were little, but that's me. I'm selfish when it comes to the Stones. Now they are mostly young adults, so I'm very happy to shar

Oh no!! That's such sad news. I enjoyed his posts both here and on Facebook. My sympathies to his dear family and friends. May the good lord shine a light on you, Deltics.

Calling any one news outlet a joke or trash or Faux means nothing. Almost all of them are biased toward a particular political and cultural point of vew, some more than others, of course. People love to think "their" news outlet is the most trustworthy and honest, but if you're only watching/reading that source, you're living in a bubble of confirmation bias. And there

They did a fine job, especially Mick. Don't understand why anyone would expect more, considering the limitations. They are still alive, still able to perform, and, for that, I am grateful. I spent the morning watching many of the other performances. I found all of them to be charming and heartfelt, good or not.

QuoteIGTBA QuoteRocknroll1969 Quotebv So I hear FOX is right and the rest of the US press is left which means there is only one paper to be trusted by everyone in USA and that is USA Today. Well I read them all and I make up my own mind anyway. It was not this way prior to Trump. Anyone that disagrees with him he calls fake news and claims they are left wing. It was that way (biased politica

Any of you guitar experts know anything about the PRS Silver Sky? My son has played it at a guitar store several times and really wants one. I promised him last year that I would help him with the purchase, and now seems a good time to get it, with the corona shutdown keeping everyone inside.

My sister in law and niece are recovering slowly at home. Sis works in the health care field so she actually got tested. She said she felt extreme vertigo about a week before the fever and respiratory symptoms kicked in. I haven't heard of that symptom, seems like there is no straight path that the virus takes. I'm very grateful that neither of them required hospitalization. Worried for

Quotebleedingman I agree that Andrew Cuomo, whom I have never been a fan of, has stepped up admirably. Regarding Trump's response to the reporter, Trump isn't eloquent to say the least, BUT part of the reason for the daily briefings, in which he has members of his team speak and answer question, and in which he himself fields a plethora of questions, is to keep the public informed and

I'm grateful everyone I know and love is still healthy, but it's frightening how ill-prepared our government and health care system is to handle what's sure to come. Missing a Stones concert is the least of my worries. Be well an

I teach in a large high school with a multinational population and the concern here is very real. All-day long students and teachers share desktops, laptops, pencils, water fountains, door nobs - you name it. I am heeding the advice of health professionals as best I can, but I could wash my hands 20 times a day and I still wouldn't be able to avoid someone else's germs. I suspect t
