This is our band ( me with the yellow lp special) working out a new song. We play every Saturday just for the fun of it. I'm 61 and joined in 2005. The three original guys (67,70,70) have been jamming every Saturday in this room since 1984.

Elvis is the most influential performer of the 20th century. Elvis opened the door for black music to be played on mainstream radio here in the US. Without Elvis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard, would never have had top ten records and would have been relegated to only black r&b radio stations. Elvis is also the reason that every English rocker picked up a guitar. And as for Fredd

Here is a new one we just finished. Our singer Phil's cousin was killed in a tragic accident, and when his wife was going through his things, she found these words he had written. Phil put them to music and we recorded this in honor of his departed cousin. Please keep in mind that this was literally recorded in a garage.

I don't think the cover art for iorr was inspired by this nazi image. It more closely resembles a scene from the never finished 1930's film I, Claudius, with Charles Laughton as Claudius. Everyone except the stones are dreesed in Roman garb.

I was just a little to young at the time for the whole Ziggy Stardust phenomenon. My first Bowie album was Diamond Dogs. What made Mick Ronson one of my guitar heroes was his playing on Ian Hunter's first solo album(1975). Once Bitten Twice Shy rocks and is one thousand times better than the pale Great White cover from the 80's. His solo on The Truth the Whole Truth is simply stunning.

Jim Gordon is definitely one of the greatest drummers of all time. When you look at his discography, it is mind boggling the number of hit records he played on. He could play any genre of music, pop, rock, country, blues. I also read that since he has been collecting royalties for all these years, he is one of the most financially well of murderers in the Calfornia prison system.

When I was a kid my dad would tell me what he expected to be done by the time he got home from work(mow the lawn, weed the garden, stack wood,etc.). I wanted to know what he was going to pay me. His response was "You're eating supper tonight, aren't you. You've got a roof over your head, don't you."

Whereas most of the sixties and seventies male vocalist sought to emulate the great black bluesmen, todays male pop stars (Justin Timberlake,Adam Levine,Bruno Mars) use Michael Jackson as their model. They all sound like girly-men.

She is obviously a good guitarist, but unoriginal. She's mastered all the modern tricks and gimmicks ,but I find it all show and no go. I don't know what it is,they are great guitars, but it seems like I can't get into anyone who plays a PRS.
