These are the best thing I’ve ever watched abut the band!

I absolutely love this album! The cd is playing in my car when I’m driving. The vinyl is on non-stop when I’m home. I’m currently working out of town driving up the streaming numbers listening on Apple Music through my Beats Studio Wireless headphones. I can’t understand a single complaint or criticism I’ve heard about this album. “Too pop” means “the melodies are too catchy” or “too many hooks”.

QuoteDoxa QuoteTheflyingDutchman QuoteTopi Quotekeefriffhards Why Keith only one song and a short song, wasn't the contract always two Keith songs, sometimes three songs, disappointed. The contract? Very simple: When most people hear Jagger's voice they think it's the Rolling Stones. When people hear Keith's voice they think it is him doing a solo project. That's

Quotehot stuff I 100% agree. Amazing Stones track. Play it and then play Angry and together they both sound special. The Stones haven't released 2 tracks back to back this good in a very long time. Play it Loud!! I agree! I could write just as much about my love for “Angry”! I cannot wait to hear the rest of this album!

This song is really blowing me away! Soul! I’m not interested in any critiques of how high Mick’s voice is in the mix, how some other female could’ve done it better than Gaga, how Steve Jordan didn’t drum it as good as Charlie would have…this is The Rolling Stones right now and they sound as powerful and spine chilling as they’ve ever sounded! I don’t hear guitars buried in the mix, I hear beauti

“Angry” didn’t grab me so much on the little official teaser link that they released, but I put it on repeat on Spotify driving home from work the day it was released, and it blew my mind after about four times through! You can never please everybody, but this a great track! The beat is tight. The riff is catchy! Keith’s solo sounds just like what he’s playing live these days. Mick’s vocals are

QuoteGasLightStreet He has. But in ways that are not exactly noticeable in ways that Keith acknowledges Mick's input. Keep in mind, Keith has always talked down about Mick as a guitarist. So... The guy that came up with Brown Sugar? He's not exactly very good. But... you know, like, "just saying". Good point! I’m not trying to take a thing away from Mick. Keith

Keith has shot off his mouth insulting Mick many times over the years. Maybe for shock value, maybe for headlines, maybe for jealousy. But he has also repeatedly called him the greatest frontman of all time, the best harmonica player ever, and several other super positive things. Has Mick ever publicly acknowledged Keith’s talents? I am in awe of both their talents, but I’ve gotten annoyed with

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quote24FPS QuoteDoxa Quote24FPS Keith used to be pretty good on bass fifty odd years ago, or so. He must have not kept up with it because he seems to have lost his touch. Do those two photos tell that much? - Doxa No, but the bass parts he's done since the mid-80s tells that. What's wrong with his playing on Love Overdue? Love his bass playing on that o

The Rolling Stones touring in the 80’s without Mick Jagger would’ve been a joke and a complete disaster. It could’ve gotten off the ground possibly, but it would’ve been as ridiculous as Jagger trying to do his solo show with all Stones songs with metal guitarists trying to find the soul in Keith’s riffs.

I can’t say buy it enough! I want this song to go number one! I’ve message links to all my friends and shared it on Facebook. I always share the hell out of anything new by The Stones cause I want people to hear why I love them so much. But please buy it somewhere. If this song goes number one, we’ll get the whole album really soon!

I’m definitely not a troll. I fell in love with The Stones sound when I heard JJF at 12 years old. I most recently saw them at Chicago opening night. even seem to be one of few here who genuinely loves Voodoo Lounge and BTB. The only albums that are subpar sound or mixing-wise to me are Between The Buttons (thin), GHS & IORR(muffled). But people seem to share my opinion occasionally on th

The live tracks on December’s Children sound so much more alive to my ears. It’s not an out of phase speaker. The recordings in 1969 just seem to take all the life out of the performances to me.

No. I have a great surround system. I love the album and the film, but is the sound quality really considered good? Every other live recording they ever released sounds light years ahead of these two to me. It’s puzzled me for years!

Can someone enlighten me? I always hear Get Your Ya Ya’s Out praised as being The Stones greatest live album. The musicianship, to me, is decent, but not noteworthy. What am I missing? Jagger sounds strained and slightly off key at best. Keith’s guitar sounds muffled and also slightly out of tune. Bill’s bass is great, but poorly recorded. Same for Charlie’s drums. Mick Taylor sounds like h

I just did the search to look for one I started a couple of years ago. I started a “Ronnie Wood talk - what’s on your mind right now?” thread as an answer to the Mick Taylor thread of similar title. I guess it really did get deleted. It was never meant to be confrontational or to start trouble. I just started it because I really like and respect Ronnie Wood. I love Mick Taylor’s guitar playin

QuoteNeverMakeASaintOfMe You definitely aren't the only one because I feel the same way. He's underrated and rarely shows his talent as a slide guitarist. Listen to this if you haven't, there's some great slide playing from him in this: Agreed! It would be a hot version of that song if they’d left off the cheesy techno backing track that seems to be playing to a different b

I’ve never heard much discussion here or anywhere else about Keith Richards’s slide playing. People praise Mick Taylor’s abilities on slide, and sometimes, Ronnie Wood’s. But, honestly, Keith’s slide that fills in most of the gaps with no vocals on the Let It Bleed album are my personal favorite slide guitar parts I’ve ever heard. Yet, he rarely played slide again after that album. Midnight R

One letter. H. Why does it automatically stand for “hits”? A good portion of the song titles within that H were just minor hits. If they are the track list, it won’t sell much. I’m waiting for another letter personally. Keith Richards is co-owner of this brand. Just an H might stand for heroin.

Haven’t Mick mixes and Keith mixes been standard operating procedure for decades? I’ve been consumed with this band since I was 12 years old, and everything I’ve ever read about the making of their albums from the early 70s forward has mentioned Mick and Keith doing mixes separately and then getting together to decide whose to use. They don’t hate each other. They’re both rich as f***. They do

Does anybody else remember Ronnie Wood’s son saying in late 2015-early 2016, something about having listened to the new album, and it was different than anything they had ever done, and was really gonna take people by surprise? I also remember reading that they had one album finished, and we’re so hyped, they just continued recording for the next album around that same time. I feel like they’ve
