Billie Eilish said: “Vinyl is wasteful” “I can’t even express to you how wasteful it is,” “It is right in front of our faces and people are just getting away with it left and right, and I find it really frustrating... it’s some of the biggest artists in the world making f–king 40 different vinyl packages that have a different unique thing just to get you to keep buying more... t’s irritating

QuoteMadMax Hello fellow IORRians! I ordered my Dvd/cd combo of Wiltern a good week before its release and it still hasn't showed up+ all record shops I've talked to tell me they have not received one single copy! Anybody got any inside info why? Are anyone else having difficulties getting a copy? I got my copy at the day of release from FNAC France. Locally in stores they have o

Quoterebelhipi Mine hasent arrived. Now it says it will be released the 22th. This is in finland Sometimes strange things happen on the regional level. For example in Portugal 2CD and 3LP versions were available at FNAC on March 5, i.e., three days earlier the official release date. But DVD+2CD and Bluray+2CD versions did not arrive yet. And the guys in the store do not have information if they w

Quotefloodonthepage I love the cardboard format. The plastic jewel cases (with the breaking/cracking/scratching) are the subpar format for me. Looking forward to getting this soon. Please share your opinion after you'll extract a CD from the middle panel of this sleeve .

QuoteTaylor1 Thank you for your great technical analysis.Since they were both recorded at Musicland could IORR be remixed to sound like Black n Blue? And could L&G be remixed to sound better? It depends if they have original multitracks. If those are lost the chances are slim for both albums.

QuoteIrix But for a 50GB BluRay you'll need an "expensive" premium account. For the same price you can buy the digital version legally (e.g. AU$ 17.99 on AppleTV+). Read careful - 'dark sides' of Internet. Have you heard words 'torrent' and 'google' ? Thread starter asked for 6 tracks from the show and Quotestonesman87Just one task - finding them

QuoteStonedRambler Honestly - for IORR I actually think the 2009 Universal master is the best. Yes it's a bit on Viagra and has less dynamics but doesn't sound as dull and lifeless as other releases. It's probably the only album in the Stones catalogue that I prefer the Universal master. Give it a try. On Viagra and has less dynamics looks like this 1986 CBS - Official DR valu

It is still available via cdjapan Please be aware, that there is another edition widely available in the whole world - . This one, with letter 'K' in catalogue number, is based on 2009 brickwalled mastering. Stay away! If you do not plan to shell off ~$30 for Japanese SHM-CD, Virgin r

What I hate about this release is packaging. Those multi-panels paper sleeves are pain. I was struggling to remove discs from 3-panels 2CD version but 4-panels DVD+2CD is even worse. One must be extremely caution during extract/insert process. This type of sleeves can be easily torn and discs can be scratched instantly. Why they were saving pennies on the packaging? Multi-panels digipaks were not

I always wonder why those CDs, both old ABKCO 1986 GLIYWI and ABKCO 2002 GLIYWI, are called mono. To my ears they are not mono but rather bad electronically processed stereo. Meanwhile, I shall stick to old-good London CDs with thacks in wide stereo, that allegedly originated from flat transfer of the original master tapes made by MFSL. PS. The only tracks in mono here are As Te
