if you are transferring cassettes, use a line in to line out cable (headphone socket to pc) using any number of applications available on the web. Make sure the heads on the cassette deck are properly aligned and tight, the cassette tape runs smoothly, beware of degradation especially c120s, the tape may split, depending on age and last played. I have also due to space issues transferred my cdrs to ext. hard drives. For accurate results you should use EAC (exact audio copy) in secure mode. If trading cdr EAC is essential. winamp has both flac and shn plug ins to play the files, don't know about it being able to copy to disc, of course nero can burn flac direct without having to decode first. Your best bet is definately TLH for Shn. Well you learn something every day, found this, might be of help to you

I think most of us have picked it up over the years, the age of your computer wil dictate what you can and can't do ie. video editing (memory/processor), burn dvds (cd/dvd rw drive). Most of the basic software to download and convert files is freeware, so thats the easy part. just a thought, not your computer, see whether it is read only in properties, if it is uncheck the box. another way is to use a free program called ifoedit which can create the ifo and bup files from the vob files you have, be careful you do not delete files so keep a copy of them somewhere else just in case. you can still burn in nero as I did and click ok about the missing file, then vie

Somewhere posted here is ... make a copy of the .bup file, then rename it as the .ifo, because they are duplicates, then try again and see whether Nero comes up with the same message, good luck.

Well my version still works, an updated version is called Imgburn, freeware again, go to the Discovery tab and it is the same set up as DVD Decrypter menus.

Many thanks for the DVD version and the time taken, same goes for Mr US. just noticed DVD1 part 10 points to DVD2 part 19 and part 11 points to DVD part 20. then from part 12 it is back in order, so DVD1 is actually 21 parts.
