I remember thinking "no thanks" when this collaboration was announced back in the 90's. Watching this Rockpalast concert, it looks like a good show, everybody's playing well, Jack in good voice. Funny thing- I read one of Jack Bruce's last interviews before he died where he said Clapton actually wanted to do more Cream shows post-MSG but Ginger said something that "put Eric off". I took a chance and watched this- its actually cool and very early 70's. The Animals were never quite the same after he left (with the royalties from "House of The Rising Sun", if you ask them.) Hes a great singer, some of it the same kinda music hall-ish stuff Ray Davies dabbled in. Great keyboard player too.
