Hi guys, I'm trying to get rid off of my collection of magazines from all over the world. Many of them with Stones on cover, most of them with Stones content. The first part is up (> 30 out of around 1.500) - if interested please have a look here for example: Maybe you'd like to click on "see other items" or "Andere Artikel aufrufen" - then you'l

yes, because of trademark breach. maybe I am too naive but I can't see the point why a bootleg artwork might be protected. But I'll try to find out.

Hi guys, I’d like make some promotion for the t-shirts we created – Based on the artwork of (mainly) Trade Mark Of Quality-bootlegs we designed 5 different shirts (X-Large, Large and Medium) in two different colors (black, white). silk-screen printing was used and you can wash them as often as you like – the colors won’t fade, shirts are 100% cotton. Maybe you’d like to have a look here at:

QuoteGuðni Gunnarsson BTW do you guys have a UK copy of Bill Wyman's Apache Woman? It's got the catalog number "RS 19120". Been looking for quite a while but with no luck. I've a white-label test pressing but not the regular stock copy.

Honestly, I never thought about the artwork-design until you mentioned it here - it was just another tongue-design in my eyes and I never connected it with "She's So Cold". But it's obviously that you're right :-) Anyway, it happened before that singles had different tracks. While the German Respectable had Imagination on B-side it was Whip Comes Down In The UK. It hap

Sure, Send It To Me was expected to be the "greater hit". Imagine my surprise when I found out, that everywhere else in this world She's So Cold was the A-side. Personally I think Send It To Me was/is the better song but I'm aware that many people don't like this little Reggae. There are two different versions of this single as they replaced the German copyright-sent

QuoteKeithRichards I saw a two minutes video of a Stones gig in Vienna from the 80ies on Austrian television. Perfect picture quality! Can't remember if it was silent footage - I also wondered where they got it from an whether they had the whole concert... Maybe I should email them. Austria TV (ORF) received a tape with one entire song (Can't Always Get) and 2 other incomplete ones (T

QuoteDoc It's not a WEA release, but a german label, so I never really found out if it is 100% legit or not... I didn't take time to search either, but any reliable info would be highly welcome, of course A 100% legit release - they (Perfect Beat) bought the rights for Germany for the 1st two Ronnie LPs and released them in many different ways (I found three different ones on a first

QuoteJah Paul Interesting reads... just one example from the above articles: Let It Be was imitated by Demon Days (Gorillaz) and Let it Bleed (Rolling Stones), that was released 6 months before Let It Be, but its recording started just 9 months after. This is silly or should I say sick?!

Bought the Mono-box when it came out and 2 days ago I came home with the Stereo one and I like them for what they represent. Fantastic music from a great time in history but in the end it all sounds dated in a way. Honestly, Sympathy or Midnight Rambler still stand strong - I can't find 2 Beatles songs of that calibre - great tunes but from way back in the past. Today I listened again to Se

I was there on Saturday (Cambden) and you are right, I've got many of the European releases (like "Each Stone Unplugged", "All Down The Line" ) that I never bought on Ebay for being too expensive there. Maybe I'm wrong but the market was crowded on Saturday and I can't imagine any more sellers/people there on Sunday. Good luck to you!

Been to London 3 weeks ago and the best place for bootlegs (vinyl in my case) was Cambden Lock - cheap (around 10 - 12 Pounds each) and plenty available. On Berwick Street I found nothing at all - only the "usual" stuff which is cheaper on Ebay. If you find something special please let me know as I'll be there again in December and I'd love to go new places then.

sounds great - reminds me a bit on the old Stereo-mixes that German DECCA released on the "In Action"-LP. What about the early singles ? ;-)

I used to call him brother since we met for the first time in 2003. He came over to Vienna and we drove together along with others to Munich for the 3 shows there. Very sad that the last time I met him in person was the day after the Circus Krone show when we met at my appartment. A few years later he was invited to a wedding of a friend of ours over here but couldn't make it and so we spent

The singles collection was released in 1989 and Rolled Gold is a superb hi-fi adventure compared with the '89-release but there's no difference in sound quality between the re-release of the singles collection from 2002 and rolled gold. rolled gold was originally released on vinyl nearly everywhere in the world except for the North American market (at least I think it wasn't out

Hi Bro, I think there's in fact a silver-pressed one on an Italian label from the early days of CD-bootlegs but as I'm in office I can't tell for sure. If I can find it I'm gonna send it to you together with the MD you wanted and you can safe you $ 30 for a remastered and censored Goats Head Soup ;-) Have a nice one where ever you are! silkcut
