QuoteCaptainAcid I might be wrong, but i have it in my memory that Scorpio bootleg is from lossy files. Could be, Captain Acid. But I remember having heard something like it has to do with the way they "remaster" their stuff, which makes the files look lossy.

If you need the DICD edition(s) I could post all 3 CDs from all 4 editions v1 v2 vX I'd be also interested in the Scorpio edition dd I'm sorry I have to tell you that your files are not lossless when tested with Trader

Thanks for all of you for trying to help! Here is the track with the distortion in the left channel from ~ 12:25" to ~ 12:39": I did repair it according to the instruction given by BlueTurns2Grey and came up with this: I think it is quite okay. ProfessorWolf and Vancouver: I want to learn something here, not wanting to ask for help every time such problem turns up..

Just did a vinyl rip, and the is about ten seconds sounding quite distortet in the left channel; I want to cut it out and patch it with the right channel. Can this be done with Audacity? And if so can you please explain to me how it is done? Let me put in a quote here from a famous movie: "All right, look, I want you to explain this to me like I'm a six year old, okay?" P

Quotedcba QuoteRank Stranger Anybody out there got a lossless version to share of the IMP CD 016 + 017 from Sydney 1973 please? The Master tape from the recording used by IMP has just been liberated. Master tape, speed-corrected... I think we can let the boot lay to rest forever. Yes it is just that wanted to compare by myself. But the boot does not sound any good, an upgrade to rea

Quoteretired_dog Quotevancouver thanks great the same with Reelin' And Rocking Luxemburg or outtake ? Our fellow member VideoJames (Karnbach) -long time no see, btw.- once claimed here that he owns the master tapes of the Radio Luxembourg session while Wyman only has an acetate. Maybe he could shed light on this question? I raised the "Reelin' & Rockin' " que

Sorry, but I'm not that much excited; I think this El Mocambo stuff is totally overrated! I'd rather have more live shows from 1969 and the 1964 Radio Luxembourg broadcast!

Thank you; sounds much better than what I have on an old CDR. Flamin' Groovies played great despite a somewhat hostile German crowd! A little bit of nitpicking: There's still a short disturbing "plop" at the end of Tell the Truth ( 4:32" ), but that can be erased with Audacity. Here it is:
