Quotewalkingthedog QuoteKRiffhard Quotegotdablouse Andbon NP Mick sounds exactly like he did on Primitive Cool so...each to their own I suppose ;-) NP seems a Primitive Cool outtake I agree, although it could be from She's The Boss. The vocals are very close to War Baby on some parts, the same style, so it looks like end of 86 or 87 to me.

Quoteyearsinthemaking We know there are extensive recordings of the '78 and '81 tours. My belief is that they have numerous earlier shows recorded as well. The Stones were ahead of the curve when it came to audio and light effects at shows. They also have long been the wealthiest touring band out there. I just can't believe that the number of shows they have available wouldn&

It's amazing how low the sales are in the UK this year, Taylor Swift just hit #1 with only 27k, Macca will be #1 on Christmas week with less than 50k sold. Blue and Lonesome sold 105k in the first week of December 2016, the entire Top 6 on Christmas week sold over 50k that year including B&L at #4 with 58k sold in the 4th week, sales are down over 50% in less than 4 years.

QuoteStoneage I don't know, Dandy. I guess this album is rather fresh still. Maybe Bruce is not going down with the kids? Probably not. Heavy radio rotation though. A very radio friendly song. Radio is about 10-15% of the singles charts these days, 70% is streaming and 10-15% sales. The #1 song on rock radio or Triple A radio is not even on the US Hot 100.

About Some Girls re-issue: it was released during the 2011' thanksgiving week with high sales for seasonal albums, it debuted low on Billboard (#46) but with respectable sales during the first week (24,000 copies sold). It remained 6 weeks (46-92-122-125-135-193) on the Top 200 during the whole 2011 Christmas season selling over 130k in that time, not bad but almost 300k less copies than

QuoteStoneage This interview was on a breakfast show on BBC 2 Radio. It was aimed for the broad public. Not fans solely. Hence the questions. As I said you can tell she's not a big Stones fan. But one can't demand that. This is primarily PR. They have a new product and want to advertise it. To everyone. Not nerds only. The questions are secondary... It was all PR to hype the album i

From Music Week: We are used to the sight of catalogue albums receiving special edition spruce-ups and journeying back into the charts after an absence of years or even decades. Regular readers of these pages will note that rare are the weeks in which at least one vintage recording doesn’t make a returning impact. But it appears to be left to the Rolling Stones to take these comebacks to an en
